I'd say going stealth is "magic."

But they can't do spells as attacks against their enemies right? Oh, and what does the bar right below your life represent? Is that manna?

It's the yellow bar underneath your green health bar. It's what allows you to use all your special abilities. Good thing though is that it's pretty much constantly regenerating throughout your fight. And everytime you use one of your abilities; it consumes energy. The only way you're going to run out of it is if you're button-bashing every single ability that you can, and even then Energy regenerates rather quickly. Isn't it something like 1 energy regen every 1/10th of a second? Mana on the other hand is a total whore of a system that does nothing but get lower and lower (Unless you're Ret ).

Any of your combo moves use energy points. And in case you don't know, your enemy's portrait at the top of the screen has litle marks that appear aronud it as you build combo hits. The more combo hits you build (max 5 I think) the more devestating whatever finisher you use.
Also, that mail armor and weapons you're not able to use. If it's a gray or white item you're probably fine selling it to a vendor. If it's green or better take it to the auction house, you can usually get a lot more that way. And also if you loot job ingredients like plants or something, take those to the auction house. The influx of Death Knights and the inscription job has driven up prices on some materials.
You might know all of that already but I thought I'd mention it because I can tell you from experience, it's easy to miss something that's "obvious" when you're just starting out. I was pretty far along with my hunter before I discovered the money-making possibilities of the auction house.

Also I wanted to brag that I have a lvl 80 mage. Getting to 80 is easy, not laughing at gnomes is hard.

I have some food items like milk or spring water that say they refill mana. Do they refill energy too or is it just mana? I'm asking cause if they don't, then I could get rid of them to free up some space.

Drinks don't refill energy. Energy goes up way too fast to even worry about drinks. Sell drinks.

Okay, I have a real problem now. I got WoW and the Burning Crusade for Christmas. I just installed the both of them. Now when I go and click on the WoW icon it goes to the screen to play it but then says its installing updates and a few seconds later, it just disappears. It does this everytime I try to to play. What exactly is wrong here? EDIT: Alright I did get it working, but only after I went into the WoW folder and found the WoW icon. But for some reason, the launcher on my desktop still does the thing where it starts installing patches and just disappears a second later. I guess I'm wondering what happens to the patches.

Alright, here is my newest question. How do I transfer my trial account to my new account. I tried typing in my old screen name as using it, but it said that it was already being used. How can I get back my old account and all my character info?

Mine did the same thing with the patches. After I spent about an hour or so downloading patches everything started working fine.
I also have a question. For some reason I can't pick things up off bodies and that anymore. The little bag is just black an never turns the brown color.

First off, I'm really sorry mods for constantly bumping this thread, but I keep finding different things out. Alright, here is my newest question. How do I transfer my trial account to my new account. I tried typing in my old screen name as using it, but it said that it was already being used. How can I get back my old account and all my character info? Okay, I figured this one out, and I was able to upgrade my account. So I think I'm alright here.
