Sweet, my warrenty on it is out by 5 months as well! I'm gonna call them tommorow and see if I can't get them to count the warranty anyways. Might as well try. Even if they say no though the web page is telling me "repairs and shipping" is going to be $94.00 total. I guess a fixed Xbox or New Xbox for $94 is better then having to buy a new one for $400.00. I smile because there are worse problems to have, and things will work out.

So...
Some people were reporting troubles with the 20 free download tracks from Rock Band 2... as in they weren't receiving the code, the server wouldn't accept...
I just got my code today... but it was burried in my Bulk/Spam E-Mail section.
If you haven't received your code yet, try there...

As if my plate isn't full enough already, my roomie decides to download the Left 4 Dead demo, and I got hooked on that for about 30 minutes last night.
Seriously, that's the most multiplayer fun I've had since Team Fortress 2 came out.

I was watching a commercial for tom Clancy's End War, and it's apparently gonna be all voice command. It even has it billed as the first game to use only voice commands(Though, I think Lifeline on PS2 beat them to it). I;m cautious of it, since those usually come with the problem of the game messing up your commands. Hey You, Pikachu says hi. And for the record, Lifeline on the PS2 was pure assery.

ALWAYS buy the extended warranty on stuff like this. DP I don't understand, I was talking to your brother yesterday and he said your Xbox was manufactured in 2007, and I read an article saying that due to such a large amount of repairs, Microsoft extended the warranty to 3 years. support.xbox.com/support/en/us/xbox360/hardware/warranty/warrantyfaq/WarrantyCoverageFAQ.aspxthat's an official statement, so if all the support people wanna do is sit there and quote policies and scripts (I have dealt with these support people on 2 Xbox repair issues..one for me and one for another friend so I know how they are) you should remind them of this, especially that your Xbox was only manufactured about a year and a half ago. Save yourself some time and frustration in talking to them by going ahead and registering it before you call.

It finally happened to me. I finally had a system break down on me. From the Atari 2600 until now I never had a system break. And now I got the Red Rings of Death! I feel like a normal person now. ;D Oh well, no biggie, crap happens. I'll send it in. Give it a transfusion of your blood. Maybe your healing factor will fix it up.

I'm up for Uno tonight. I'll be on from now until around 11 PM/12 AM EST.
Message me through Xbox if you're interested in playing because I'm logging off for the night.

Anyone planning on buying the new Call of Duty game Tuesday? I'm contemplating it, but I think I'll wait until the reviews come out. I know it uses the CoD 4 engine, I know Treyarch had a lot more time to develop this than CoD 3......but I cant get past the fact its still Tryarch, and IMO, CoD 3 wasnt near as good as the ones Infinity Ward has done.

So....I should be bringing my 360 up either Tuesday or Thursday....finally.
Also, I think I might be the most awesome brother around. Here is what I am getting my two sisters for Christmas:
Little Sister #1:
- 360 Pro w/ LEGO Indy Jones and Kung Fu Panda - Extra wireless controller - Halo 3
Little Sister #2:
- 360 Arcade w/ SEGA Superstar Tennis - Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise - Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
Both of them will get 3 games(not including the XBLA games with the Arcade), and both "bundles" fit my sisters well. LS1 is a tom boy, and has tons of friends, thusly why the Pro as she's the more likely one to go online and the extra controller is to allow a friend to play with her, and LEGO Indy and Halo 3 have co-op(dunno about Kung Fu Panda) and should keep her and her friends happy. LS2 is more shy, fewer friends that actually come over to the house, and loves cute things. Remember she's my Mini-Me(loves anime, and all forms of video games), and is addicted to things like Animal Crossing and Pokemon. She's less likely to go online, and thusly the reason for the Arcade bundle. The only games she's getting with multiplayer is SEGA Superstar Tennis and a few of the XBLA games. Viva Pinata 2 and Banjo Kazooie should keep her busy for a LONG time, as they are cute games, and Viva Pinata 2 is right up her alley, as it is like Animal Crossing and Pokemon had a baby. Also, she specifically said she wants a Viva Pinata game. Though at the same time, if she does want to play multiplayer, she can ask LS1 if she can use the extra controller as well, and they both might even play LEGO Indy together.
So, I'm playing to my sisters' personalities.
Am I an awesome big brother, or am I an awesome big brother?

Yes Void you can. Infact what happened with me was Fallout 3 had been working fine all night long. Then one area took FOREVER to load. Then the next area froze while loading. I turned it off. I told my brother he can play and I went to use the bathroom. I came back and he was like "Uhhh... J...." and I saw the lights blinking and thought "0987654321!" Then I ejected the disc and turned off the system. I unhooked the power cord and hard drive. I then hooked each one back up. I turned it back and it worked and my brother went ahead and played. He got through while I was on the computer so he turned everything off. A couple hours later I went back to play and the RROD came back. I tried again to get it to work, but alas it was done this time. I took Fallout 3 out and have it in it's case now. Similar thing happened to me while playing BioShock when it first came out. One area froze/slowly loaded, and then. Ring of death.

So I rented Fallout 3 and I like it, but the thing is I think the game is just too damn expansive for me.....I just don't have the time to play games like this anymore which makes me sad in a way.
I guess that's why the only games I've even bought this year have been casual games like Rock Band 1+2, Guitar Hero World Tour, and NCAA Football 09....as much as it pains me to say, I think my days as a hardcore gamer may be coming to an end....

I'm going the same way, I'm trying to force myself through Fallout's side quests, but I'm tempted to just drive off and buy Gears

I'm only asking this because I can barely get my own 360 without someone complaining about the fact that my brother already has one.
