Actually, they were up by 13 and pretty much turned the offense down. It was less than 2 minutes left in the game and all they did was running plays. Their last TD came with 32 seconds left in the game, on a Chris Brown run that had AMAZING blocking. However, I think OU will edge Texas out because the ONLY reason Texas was ranked above OU in the BCS was the computers, and they BARELY were ranked above them. I think OU's 5 ranked opponents games will help them push over Texas. I mean they are already ranked over Texas in the human polls, it was the computer poll, which took the head-to-head into great consideration, that Texas was ranked ahead. Also....DAMN YOU OREGON STATE! I didn't want to see USC in a BCS bowl this year! Why couldn't you win? Joe Pa will beat their ass...and then take all their handicap spots. I dunno....it depends which Penn St shows up. The Nittany Lions that rolled over everyone? Or the Lions that lost to Iowa and BARELY beat Ohio State in one of the most boring Saturday Night games EVER?

Pete Carroll has the best job in the world. He makes millions per year. He lives in Manhattan Beach which looks like a resort. He's got the best recruits from California as well as the rest of the nation coming in every year. He has the biggest recruiting pipeline, that's for sure. He gets the cream of the crop from California, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii.

I think Florida beats Alabama next week, and the BCS title game is Oklahoma vs. Florida.... USC and Texas will both win their BCS bowls and bitch about being left out, typical end to a college football season.

Shouldn't they have a rule that no team can play a bowl game in the same stadium more than 3 years in a row (unless it's the title game, of course). Send USC to Glendale or New Orleans. Stupid Big Ten/Pac 10 tradition.

However, I could never criticize Texas if they griped about it since they beat Oklahoma and had the same record. If that happened in the SEC, then Texas would win because their rules for 3-way ties are different. However, I think the best possible game for the BCS Championship would be Florida/Oklahoma.

The announcers for OU/OK State thought of a great tie breaker solution, compare the points differentials between the 3 teams' against the other teams in their division and a common opponent that season that all 3 teams faced. This year, that common opponent was Kansas. In the end, OU ended up on top with 118 points, Texas with 100, and Tech had like 65. And this wasn't counting OU/OSU, meaning OU had it wrapped up.

I heard and saw that. I was about to say that an even better way to settle it would be an extra game between Texas and OU, but that wouldn't be fair to Texas Tech who tied with them. Also, if OU won then some Texas fans would probably think they should play a third game (best 2/3) and by that point it is just too much. I guess I can see why they don't have extra tie-breaker games in college football. They work well in MLB though.

I am a huge Dog fan, but their defense was pretty weak for the ladder part of the season. They are kind of lucky they didn't lose more. I have to agree. Though, I'm still hoping they play against Ohio State in a bowl game.

I definitely support a playoff, but when did all the talk about a playoff system come into being? Because I don't ever remember anyone talking about it until 4 years ago, for some reason. Here's my guess as to what a 16 team playoff would give us: 1. Alabama 16. Boston College 8. Penn St. 9. Boise St. 5. USC 12. Ball St. 4. Florida 13. TCU 6. Utah 11. Cincinnati 3. Texas 14. BYU 7. Texas Tech 10. Ohio St. 2. Oklahoma 15. Michigan St.

And here's the USA Today. They kept Oklahoma ahead of Texas, but Florida dropped in it for some reason.

Boise State 12-0 1,044 10. Ohio State 10-2 999 11. TCU 10-2 836 12. Cincinnati 10-2 770 13. Ball State 12-0 765 14. Oregon 9-3 658 15. Oklahoma State 9-3 613 16. Georgia Tech 8-3 590 17. In the AP poll, Texas is only ahead by 8 points/votes. Conversely, OU is up by one point in the USA Today poll.

OU & Texas Tech fans, because we've already seen that game, and Tech got raped. No one wants to see a team get raped twice. I mean look at last season! OU raped Mizzou in the regular season and then raped them in the Big XII Championship game.

Did you see Tebow against Florida State? He pushed BOTH the offensive line and defensive line into the end zone from within the 5 yard line to score a TD.
