So an Oklahoma/Florida game could be dubbed "Battle of the Rapists"? Pretty much. Did you see Tebow against Florida State? He pushed BOTH the offensive line and defensive line into the end zone from within the 5 yard line to score a TD. Tebow is (to paraphrase JBL) a football gawd! Too bad he'll probably be picked in the later rounds of the draft..as a wideout or safety. As or Bradford, I hope for his sake he's not picked by the Lions.

So lets get this straight....
Texas Tech was basically finished due to just slipping by a sub par Baylor team.
So it's down to Texas and Oklahoma. Texas was previously ahead in the BCS rankings. Texas beat Oklahoma head to head. Oklahoma had to fight hard to beat OSU yesterday. Texas coasted by Texas A&M.
Oklahoma wins the Big 12 South.
The BCS must die.

Well if you look at it, between common opponents, OU killed the teams better than Texas did. For example, Texas beat OK State by 4, OU beat them by 20, etc. Also OU played more ranked teams, and has had a greater margin of victory.

Texas also rested their Starters earlier and did not do stuff like Kick Onside kickoffs to run the score up for "Style"

It's the Big 12's fault for making the BCS a tiebreaker at all. It's f***ing stupid, because you have three teams deserving going to the conference title game, and Texas Tech gets f***ed over because they lost late in the year, leaving two teams hopes in the hands of voters and computers. It's not right. But still, there needs to be a playoff in college football. I'd be fine with a 16-team playoff, but I personally want 32. 64 wouldn't work, because that's over half the teams, it makes it seem too excessive.

Texas also rested their Starters earlier and did not do stuff like Kick Onside kickoffs to run the score up for "Style" Oh trust me, if Texas was in the situation Oklahoma was, they would do the same thing. You know what needs to happen? Texas & Oklahoma need to be fused into one state, "Texhoma", and then combine OU & UT together. I mean NO team would be able to stop a team that had the best of OU's guys and the best of UT's guys combined.

OU is going? Bull****.
Well, assuming Oklahoma doesn't have a flashback to 5-6 years ago and let Mizzou go Kansas State on their asses, it will be a pleasure to watch Tim Tebow embarrass that subpar Oklahoma defense.

I agree with 32 teams, because with the BCS, it makes any ranking above the top worthless. Ranks #11 and back are just numbers in the current BCS system. Look at the NCAA basketball rankings, all of them have value, because they aren't just rankings, but seeds for the NCAA Tournament.

OU's is their defense. If they had UT's defense it would be a nearly 100% perfect team, and UT's weakness is their offense. They don't really have all that many weapons. The weapons they have are DEADLY, but they are too few. Imagine the scores UT could put up if they had guys like Jermaine Gresham to add onto guys like Jordan Shipley. I mean we've seen what OU's receivers have done with Bradford's not so accurate passes, imagine the damage that could be done if Colt McCoy was tossing his perfect passes at them. It would create a dynasty! An empire!

But that is nigh impossible. You still get to go to a BCS bowl.
