you never know... she could just not know you like her... or maybe she's shy and doesn't want to be alone with you... i've had that happen... it depends on her personality a lot... but i'd say you should tell her... or at least when you ask her out maybe when she responds with that add in something like "eh... i dunno... dunno why but i just don't feel like having a big group tonight... i'm feeling kinda closed off... i'd rather it was just us so we could talk about stuff" maybe not that exactly... but something thats believable and works for you that could set up you two talking about your feelings... you never know unless you try although i'll completely understand if you stay with the way things're going... its just my opinion and advice and i'll understand if you choose not to take it No, I appreciate you saying that because I never really thought of it that way. I did think she would be more aware of things like that because hey, Uni students. Probably been out on some dates before coming to Uni just like most of my friends are. But I might try that sometime if we do go out on the big group drink. Some time after that. I do appreciate it, though so I'm not going to ignore it. I'll blame you if it fails, though. ...they don't want to go out with you because of the CCJ you have Look, I didn't expect her to actually find me in those bushes next to her house and you know it!

For what it's worth, it could be worse. You could be hearing "you're my best friend" or "you're like my brother" all the time. At least you got past the point where you'd have to hear that. THIS

Word. Heck, that's what I already pretty much do (I don't actually verbalize it, but that's what I act like). Do you think a lot of it might have to do with the "nice guy" stigma? Because if you give off that vibe of being a harmless nice guy, chances are you're going to get that sort of letoff a lot. If I've learned anything, it's that having a moderate degree of attitude without being a full-blown jerk pays off considerably in the dating world. Yeah, I do. Unfortunately, I am a nice guy, and even the attitude I cop isn't enough. My ass is doomed to walk the proverbial earth forever like that. Yea my problem especially in College would be meeting some girl and things would be going great and then she'd say something "that's so funny because it reminds me of one time my boyfriend and I........." and then I'd just tune out and just smile and nod and my brain starts just shuts off my auditory senses and kind of acts like when you call a company and they put you on hold and drown out any noise that comes out of her mouth until I find a way to get out of the conversation. That's why the Claddagh ring is a thing of genius. Since the way a lot of people wear them indicates whether or not they're available (unless you're dealing with a girl doesn't know the correct way to wear it). Although I think the next time a girl casually mentions she has a boyfriend, instead of just gritting my teeth and smiling and nodding I'll just do what Token did in the "The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers" episode of South Park after he watched the porn tape and just brush my hands together and just go "ok, I'm out". But I think Bill Hicks said it best when he said chicks dig jerks The song actually comes from his Relentless album but I guess whoever uploaded this liked the fact that Arizona Bay had a headshot of Bill as its cover.

Anyone who quotes Bill Hicks, especially that song, is OK in my book.
