Great larger snack in most English pubs. That reminds me, I need to phone my ex girlfriend later. A few years back, there was a cheese and chips craze. Never understood it myself. Scotch egg's. MMM yes very nice, used to get them every week from tesco before my health kick.

It's strange that I live in England but have never been to a pub that sells scotch eggs.
There's usually just crisps, pork scratchings and peanuts or a proper menu.

$3 for a scotch egg? you are being raped sir! My pub has these disturbing plowmans lunches in a little packet.....they look horrible. .....They also sell cans of beer for dirt cheap under the counter though, which is always a winner

$3 for a Scotch Egg? You can get a packet of three here for 99p at the local Tesco. When I am in a pub its usually the peanuts I got for or a pack of McCoys crisps! A friend of mine loves pork scratchings but its essentially fat coated in fat, eewww.
