What about Henry Blake? We'd need someone who could pull off a bumbling leader.

Im sure Rob Schnieder (spelling?) could pull off a good Hawkeye. YOU SIR ARE FULL OF SHIT! Rob Schneider on his best day couldn't even come close to beating Alan Alda or Kiefer Southerland's Dad on their worst days playing Hawkeye HOW DARE YOU SIR!

For some reason, if they had Sherman Potter, Alan Arkin could play him,
Even though it wouldn't be possible, unless they had the switch mid-show, they would HAVE to have Kelsey Grammar as Charles Winchester.

I could definately see Will Ferrell as Colonel Blake. He could pull off 'bumbling fool' as well as have a few moments to shine as a compassionate human being.
That is, I THINK he can pull off being human...
On a side note, I was watching the "Heroes of World Class" DVD and thought that David von Erich looked a little like Ferrell...

They would also screw it up by probably trying to make "Suicide is Painless" into a punk song or something like that.

If he was still in the business I could see Rick Moranis as Radar. Yeah, but nowadays it'd probably be Michael Cera.

Radar is a young kid, having a 56 year old man in that role would be kinda bad. I mean it was getting ridiculous as the TV show went on that Radar still had the same position/rank.

Radar WAS promoted at one time but didn't want it as the privates treated him differently......

Cera could actually probably be pretty decent.
There is a guy from General Hospital who I think could be a little better. He plays a character named Spinelli. Bradford something is his real name. Probably the one other GH mark will know who I'm talking about.

There is only one Hawkeye though. It'd be near impossible to re-create that television role. Then recreate the movie's Hawkeye. In fact, that would be better since the length of the series dictated that Hawkeye had to go through a tremendous amount of character development. The Hawkeye at the end of the series barely resembled the fun character at the beginning.

Probably the one other GH mark will know who I'm talking about. I hadn't thought about him. He'd be a good pick, but he's still a little young for that character. I thought about this for a while, and the name I came up with for Radar was DJ Qualls (remember him in "Road Trip"?). Sure, he's taller than Gary Burghoff, but he has that awkwark look to him that I think would work as Radar.
