I havent used it but I read it from time to time and there's interesting stuff on here. I dont trust that I wont be scammed or ripped off so I'm probably never gonna use it. As for the personal ads there, uhhh no thanks.

I tried to use it once when I was looking for a working ColecoVision system. I found one ad that was close to where I live, but I never got a response from the guy who was selling it.

no, but a guy i was staying with whilst over in america used it, he put some car bodywork kit on there for free, he then left it out the front of the house explaining how craigs list works to an ignorant englishman and telling me that it would be gone within the hour, it was still there for at least a fortnight before he took it back in

I found my current roomates/apartment on there and got my current job where i've worked for a year and a half from there.
I've yet to meet girls because 95% of the ads are spam.

I've never used it, then again I live in a fairly small area, so there aren't aton of postings of stuff I'm interested that's in walking distance besides overpriced pinball and arcade machines.
My friend uses it a good bit though, as he spends a lot of time in NYC for business. He got me a 360 for $60 someone pulled the HD off of. He just got it for spare parts as his was RROD'ing. He air cooled his and fixed it and gave me the one he got. Surprisingly, I've had no problems with it.
