I just hooked up my 2600 and I'm having a lot of fun with it. ANyone else have one? I like how some of the best games are simple to learn but difficult to master.

I never had a 2600, but I had a 7800 which played those games. Somewhere, sometime, my games all got lost when I moved (I moved pretty much once a year from 5th grade onwards, even my first year of college I moved twice). I ended up selling the Atari 7800 to a collector.
However, I remember Pitfall and Pitfall 2 being awesome, though Pitfall 2 may have been 7800 only. I remember Asteroids, Space Invaders, all those old cheesy arcade games being amazing too.
At the moment I have an Xbox and PS2 hooked up, with an NES, SNES, N64, and Gamecube in the closet. I also have a Genesis (with an adapter to play Master System games) and a Dreamcast in the closet.
That doesn't count the fact that my Xbox is um... let's say "special" and I have every Genesis, SNES, NES, GB/GBC/GBA, and Arcade game - I think I might have an Atari emulator on there somewhere too, but I honestly don't remember.

The best thing is, if you know about that adapter, you know it's a true old school Genesis (it didn't fit on the smaller one they released, and it DEFINITELY didn't fit on the ultra tiny ones they released later).
I am old school. Truly, an accomplishment.
