I heard a spoiler that the dog dies in the end.
Now with all the advertisements as a light hearted comedy its seems like a real downer to take kids to.

Almost every movie with a dog in it(cept for Lassie, Benji and Beethoven, etc.) has the dog dying in it.
The ads do say "You'll laugh, you'll cry" I'm sure Marley lives on through the puppies

Well since Marley & Me is about how a man & his family grows along with Marley, it is to be expected that the dog dies.

I fell asleep after they gave birth to child #1 and woke up just as they were giving birth to child #2.
But yeah, the dog died at the end. There were a lot of people crying in the theater too.

Guys....it is based on a non-fiction book so you have to realise that the dog dies in the end.

The best part of the movie was the pissed off Mother that was outside bitching at the Manager because her kids were upset that the dog died.
And yes, I had to stick around to listen to it because it was hilarious. Apparently, theaters should spoil the ending to kids movies so the parents and judge whether or not to take their kids there.
You can't do that online, no sir. That's the Devil.

Couldnt they have just, you know, IMPLIED the dog died but do it subtly so none of the kids get upset (i havent read the book or seen the film so i dont know if that would be possible).

The dog dies? I didn't want to see the movie as it looked awful but its the unwritten rule of movies-you cant let the dog die! Have loads of humans die yes, but not a dog. Sickos!

To anyone who didnt know this was based off a book.....are you freakin kidding me.
In 2006, this book was on the New York Times Nonfiction Bestseller List throughout most of the entire year. It was a pretty big book.
And for those who didnt like that the dog died in the end, almost every damn movie that has a dog is very much the main part of the plot, the dog dies.

If Babe "Pig in the City" can be marketed to kids, I'd say almost any movie can.
