Just got done watching X3, and it got me to thinking about the "New Mutants" type movie I heard the were possibly making. The way X-Men 3 ends, totally leads into a movie about the students at Xavier's school. Have Storm and Beast be teachers. The main cast of students could consist of Iceman, Kitty, and Colossus (they could be the seniors, so to speak) maybe have Angel still there, and add in two new students, like say, Cannonball and Wolfsbane. They also introduced the Bolivar Trask character in X3, maybe the main villain for this movie could be the Sentinels.
I know I'm dreaming, there's no way this movie would happen exactly like i wrote it. But I think it's a cool idea.
What do you guys think? or what would your ideas be for this type of movie?

Switch Wolfsbane for someone who doesn't suck, and it sounds pretty good.

Jubilee has been a back ground charecter in all 3 of the X-Men movies, maybe finally give her a bigger role.

Fireworks are a killer mutant power! *Warning Geek Moment*Though not normally one of the most powerful mutants in the world, Jubilee has the potential to be extremely dangerous. Mainly because she has the ability to create one of those "Pafs" at the atomic level which in essence is a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION!

I think it was a Wolverine comic where she did that...not intentionally, mind, but she accidentally did one INSIDE this guy, and blew up his heart.

Chamber is the one guy I want in an X-movie in the worst way that I know will never make the cut. Personally, I know the dude's overexposed a bit now, but I think Robert Pattinson of "Twilight" fame would make the perfect Chamber.

I like the idea for your movie, but I'd like to take it further. The New Mutants battle The Sentinels, and all seems lost. Without Xavier, Cyclops, and Jean Grey, The New Mutants don't seem powerful enough to take them out ... Just when all is seemed lost, The Sentinels go bat shit crazy because there is a high powered mutant approaching. The Sentinels are then ripped apart and flying through the carnage is a more powerful Magneto. It seems that the cure in weaponized form did indeed strip a mutant of it's powers, but the stronger mutants could build up a resistance and come back later more powerful than before. And of course at his side is the more deadly Mystique.
