Shawn Michaels will be at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa, New York on December 28th. Autographed photos are $50 and Polaroids with Michaels are $75.
source: Wrestling News World
those prices seem a little outrageous.

No, that won't put people off buying those in an economic downturn.
Nope, definatly not.

That doesn't make it outrageous. He's still a relevant and current superstar. I'd say 10$ for a picture with Virgil, Wrestling Superstar is more outrageous than 75$ for one with Micheals. But that's just my opinion. For the record... I'd pay.

Pfft. I wouldn't pay that. I merely payed $10 for a pic with Bobby Heenan and nothing to have my book signed and picture taken with Chris Jericho.
HBK can keep his autographed stock photos.

Ha Ha! I'm just waiting until WWE pleads viewers to buy HBK merchandise so he wont be so broke. Whats sad is I bet people will offer him money at the signing.

Years ago, around the time he was feuding with Razor Ramon over the IC title, he was at a local kids fair here and I got his autogrpah and picture for FREE (well, besides the $5 admission fee). In fact, I have never paid for a wrestler's autograph/pic. Granted, it's been years since I've been to a live event/autograph signing (last person I ever got was Sunny shortly before she left the WWE.)

...that seems odd. I've only been to two sinings (Edge and Jericho), but they were both free. Batista's down here was too, iirc.

*IF* this is legit, and not just a work, Shawn can hold that sign-up session next door, and I'd MAYBE bother to show up to take a look. 50/75$ are OUTRAGEOUS prices. No fandom and no "Hero" is worth that much money... It's a name scribbled over a 10c picture, or a 10c picture itself... To those who would pay without thinking twice about it, I envy you... you probably have a lot of spare money, if having a picture with Shawn Michaels' newfound, plastic smile is worth 75$. And if you DON'T have much spare money, but would pay anyway, well... that's the reason you don't have money

I would consider paying $50-$75 to meet Bret and get him to sign my WWF winged eagle belt, but I couldn't imagine paying that much to meet anyone else.
Edit: on second thought, I'd pay that much to meet and get a picture with Triple H as well.
Popeye's Nutritional store had something around where I live a few weeks back where you had to pay $50 if you wanted to meet Cena. $50 got you in the store, a 'grab bag' of supplements and a meet and greet with Cena. PFFFT....
