As far as the quality, 07 was far from the worst year. You had Taker vs Batista, New Breed vs Originals, Punk vs Morrison, Cena always delivering at PPV (even with 2 good matches against Khali), Orton's rise to the top, and Miz and Morrison teaming up. That stuff alone makes it worlds better than 95. Publicity wise, 07 was the worst though. Don't forget Batista's stunt jump in the Punjabi PRison match, seriously that was awesome

Agreed. I think I've warmed up to the Punjabi Prison match.

Am I the only one who enjoyed 06?
As for my opinion, I think 2007 was a major low point. The Benoit incident, as well as storylines and feuds that failed to capture the imagination, made for a very rough year for WWE.

I don't think it was the worst. Not sure what was, but not '07.

I don't think it was the worst. Not sure what was, but not '07. Yeah, worst is a bit much. 95 sure sucked a lot more.

The period where Hornswoggle as Vince's illegitimate son was the #1 storyline in the company was, bar none, the worst period of wrestling I've seen in my 20 years as a fan. A group of 6 year olds could have written a more compelling storyline.

07 was likely the weakest of years in match quality, were i would only rank Cena vs HBK at the London Raw as a classic match. There were some other GREAT matches but it was for sure not a great year.
06 - To me this was probally the worst. One of the main things i like about the WWE is watching HBK tear it up, but in 06 he was stuck in that GOD awful DX angle. however the hightlight was Edge he was just superb all year long.
95- was a pretty meh year, but HBK vs Razor 2 at Summer Slam was flatout amazing and should have one PWI's Match of the year. Actaully anything with Bret and Shawn this year was great, both those guys really worked hard to put on some great matches against a series of different guys
93 - OH GOD! Now that i think about it 93 was the worst. I mean really there was ZERO classic matches. The best match of the year ( in my books ) was HBK vs Janetty at Royal Rumble. There were a few other gems like, Perfect vs Hart, Razor vs Hart, and Bam Bam vs Hart at King of the Ring, Razor vs Bret at Rumble, HBK vs Janetty on the May and July Raw's. Those were great matches but in any other year i am not sure how hight i would rank anything other then Bret/Perfect and HBK/Janetty RR, very high.

1995 was probably worse, but I was 11 years old that year and a new wrestling fan, so it doesn't seem as bad.
2006 though, was awful.

2006 and 2007 were pretty bleh. I think 2007 was worse because there wasn't a consistently entertaining Smackdown like 2006 had. It also had the absolutely horrible Hornswoggle crap that almost made me take another hiatus from wrestling, as TNA was approaching the peak of their stupidity at the time, too.
I think 93 or 95 were worse years overall, though.

1999.
I know, I know... Attitude Era, highest ratings, yeah, I know.
But this was the year the title changed hands at least once a month, and all of the other titles also were hotshotted.
The wrestling was crap, and RAW was nothing to be proud of either.

1995 still wins hands down...
Just a handful of good Superstars, often stuck in silly angles [see Hart, Bret], and a terrible main event scene.
2007 was rather meh, mostly due to a lot of injuries, but I wouldn't say it was that bad. 2003 was much worse, especially on RAW. And 2006 wasn't that awesome either.
