And if WWE still see the ECW title as a "World title" (Kayfabe) then why would Matt be jealous even though he has his own world title. Because his brother, despite being the screw up of the family, has gotten more attention and chances at a title and, since winning, more love from the fans than Matt has. Matt worked hard for his title, to win on his first chance, while Jeff was handed shot after shot.[/kayrealityfabe] Matt was the first person to come to mind after Jeff won the belt. Plus, Hardy v. Hardy could be a huge draw at Mania.

For your sake, I hope you leaving is just one of those kayfabe versions of leaving. Or you could just come back as a different gimmick

The Undertaker would never attack anyone like that... That is exactly the reason why I would like the Undertaker to be involved in it, I can't stand his character, he bores me to tears with his constant 'dying' and the way he always has to come out on top in a feud, usually the last match would be a gimmick match so the guy he is feuding with needs to take time off as well to sell the defeat! I would like it to be Christian too, but I would like him to have done it with intruction from the Undertaker!

I still think Triple H had something to do with it. His face runs really bore me, and it's just the natural progression to being a heel.
Plus, he doesn't really have anything better to do.

I was getting into the Hardy HHH programme but I thought it looked like Hardy was going to be the heel which would have fitted in nicely with the darker side to his character, Triple H does play a heel better however its been done so many times in the past, a Hardy turn would have been different, refreshing, Triple H has no sense of character change, be it a heel or a face he is the dominant guy, he hasn't really done anything to his character in the last 8 years, thats why he is boring as well, that being said you can count on a good match out of him whether he is booked to win lose or draw

Technology these days is so amazing, we can zoom in and clear up the image, can you do this for us guys? IT WAS YOU WASN'T IT! ;D

Matt as a heel again? AWESOME! Does this mean he and Edge could team up against Jeff and Triple H? I really think they should have went further with his V1 gimmick instead of the whole I'm the other half of the Hardy Boys despite the glaring fact the Hardy Boys just about never team up anymore gimmick.

Haha! Not so immortal now are ya?!?!
OK someone copy and paste that on the day if I'm not here and it hasn't happened.
I actually agree with you though. Even when Matt was champ all the attention was on Jeff trying to become champ.

If its Matt I think its going to be more of an "I did it for you Jeff" situation. He'll say he was worried about the pressure of the title destroying him and say he didn't think he could handle it. They'll fight and reconcile quick most likely.

To be honest, from what I remember, it really didn't go well. This was when Matt was feuding with Lita at the same time, and it didn't get over. I don't remember if this was before or after Matt Hardy V1, since that seemed to be when Matt really got over as himself.

Yeah bookmark this ... if it doesn't occur before the day after Mania I'm gone, cause the run might happen at the Jeff Mania match but i doubt it... I'm a man of my word That just means he going to be here under a different name.

Have they even mentioned this lately? When was it last brought up? They probably forgot, but they could wrap a few things up at once if the attack was by Booker T. ....He owes Orton a favor still. ....Oops Orton is on the other show. The non-existant Brand Split is your problem rather than the fact Booker works for a different company? Interesting. There is half a dozen guys who could have attacked Jeff and at this point it could be any one of them. It's by no means 100%. Looking forward to you still posting on here when it turns out to be someone else.

As far as all this "I'm so proud" stuff, I think Jeff faked the attack.
Let's face it, Jeff has always been the free spirit of the WWE. His character is unlike HHH, Edge, Batista, or even Matt in the fact that titles and career was secondary to him. Kayfabe-wise, if he never champ, he would still get the same rush without all of the pressures of worrying about titles and career.
In short, he would rather NOT deal with the pressures of being champ. Matt, in his fervor to help Jeff become champ, failed to realize that Jeff did not even want to be champ. Matt assumed that since they both loved the business that Jeff's career ambitions were the same as his. Matt kept supporting Jeff so much that he felt obligated to keep at it despite not really wishing for the pressures involved.
Ultimately, Jeff was running out of excuses, so he faked one. HE would have figured that Matt would have blamed either HHH or Kozlov, but Edge took advantage of the opportunity and made himself Suspect #1 in Jeff's assault.
Jeff had another out when Kozlov interfered at Armageddon, but Matt interfered as well to cancel that out. Matt kept the pressure up until Jeff won the title and was stuck with all of the pressures involved with it.
I'm sure that many of you don't see this as a possibility. I admit that it is a stretch, but it has a few unique benefits.
A) It fits everyone's characters perfectly. It is not impossible to believe that Jeff would not wish to be champ and that Matt would not see that.
B) Both of the Hardy's are great commodities as faces, and this angle would not destroy the chance to bring the brother who turns on the other back to the face side of the fold. Matt as the jealous Hardy would not do that necessarily.
C) No one would see it coming.
