I personally liked the F-5 better than the F-U. Mainly because the F-5 looked a lot more painful, and was delivered with that extra little snap (a la SCS VS DC).

This is like comparing Canadian Destroyer to the heart punch Sooo the heart punch? Since ya know, the Canadian Destroyer is a completely over the top and ridiculous finisher that makes the Worm look deadly.

I was using that as an example. I sound like I'm back pedaling, but I know the Canadian Destroyer is ridiculous. I knew if I named something like The Shotgun, or something than he wouldn't remember/recognize them.

This is like comparing Canadian Destroyer to the heart punch Well they both are set up with a fireman carry, and end in a type of impact slam, plus the names are VERY similar. As such I think it is more than a fair comparison. PS: i think they are both, in general, rather good finishers. They are both flashy, and effective (kayfabe). Only draw back I see, is that they might be hard to put on larger guys (though Cena and Lesnar seem to have no problems there, smaller guys using them might).

To be perfectly honest, I never thought the F5 looked all that devastating.
They both kind suck, IMO.

F5. I want to say that the early F-Us were more like a traditional Death Valley Driver and that it became more of a fireman's carry slam over time, but I could be wrong about that.

I bet if Cena used the F5 and Lesnar the FU this poll would be 17-2 the other direction.
That said I voted F5.

F-5. It just looks more devastating. I do wish Cena had just used a DVD and called it the FU. Same basic deal, better move.

Doesn't the DVD cause you to land on your neck, as opposed to your back?

Well they both are set up with a fireman carry, and end in a type of impact slam, plus the names are VERY similar. As such I think it is more than a fair comparison. This was also the biggest part of Cena's feud with Brock. He started using the Fireman's Carry Slam and named it the FU at that time. F-5. It just looks more devastating. I do wish Cena had just used a DVD and called it the FU. Same basic deal, better move. I agree with this but, if Cena would just sit out/drop down with it like he has done a few times, it looks a whole lot better.

Stunner or stinkface?
I mean come on...the F-5 made people freak the snork out, the F-U.........didn't.
Simple.
EDIT: Thanks for pointing out the mistake robbymac.

The F5 was awesome.
The FU isn't bad or anything, but it's not a fair comparison.

Without the hype the move is ordinary and the debuts of both show this, when Lesnar first did the F-5 people were shocked.

That was awesome, Lesnar's debut, but I took more notice of him Triple Powerbombing Spike.

If the FU was done as a proper Death Valley Driver, then I'd say that, but it isn't so the F5 it is.
