On a side note.. that length or longer is what Sting's hair needs to be if he's going to be crow Sting... I never could stand short hair crow. It just seemed so... not Crow Sting.

I actually kind of like that a little better. Could use a bit of work, but I like it more because it looks less like a Crow rip-off and that's basically what Sting became.

Anything Sting does is good. Anything crow-Sting is awesome. I do like the "transistional" phase, but I definately prefer the full face.

Yeah, the full face paint looked better. I was a huge mark for Crow Sting, as I'm also a huge fan of the movie "The Crow". I knew it was a rip-off of the comic/film, but I didn't care. It was awesome. I also agree with nerdinitupagain. Short hair Crow-Sting didn't look as cool.

I kinda wish he started growing out his hair much sooner just have it pulled back. Then when he turns into Crow Sting dye it jet black and wear it down. Doing a total 180 would have been more effective then the transition IMO. But as another poster said... anything Sting does is cool..well.... except for the red nWo Wolfpack face paint. *shudder

It gets me thinking. Why does no one do makeup anymore? I popped huge as a kid for Sting, Great Muta, The Road Warriors, Ultimate Warrior. It was all very super hero/comic book stuff. Not one major wrestler in WWE, TNA or ROH? I wonder why.

And on guys like Sting/Warrior, the aftermatch look of having most of it gone when they won sort of made it feel all the more epic of a victory, ya know? I'd love if someone could find a way to do it again.

Someone asked this of somebody on one of the F4W shows and this was his answer that I think makes a lot of sense: It's a pain in the ass to paint your face every night. Think about it man, I don't wanna spend a half an hour every night doing it. Apparently Sting does it because he kind of finds it calming which I guess could see as well.

Agreed as well, I loved this phase. I miss the impact of him being the "silent warrior", but if he were to do it now in TNA, West and Tenay would NEVER shut up.
Say, since you have those stills... do you have the video?
