On to Round 7 ....
In the event of a tie both will carry on to the next day to meet some other challenger. I will try and vary the sources from comics to TV show characters.
I'm also going to add a bit of story to this to make it interesting, it's still a favorite poll but it's going to have continuity!
I will happily take requests for future opponents. But in the meantime we have to continue the story ...
--------------------------------------
Last time alarms sounded as someone or something had breached S.H.I.E.L.D security and was lurking in the prison cell area. Nick Fury decided to go and investigate leaving Black Widow to man the computers in the control room.
"This is Nick Fury, nothing yet Black Widow"
"Affirmative Colonel Fury."
Fury races down the corridor hits the stairs and thanks to his years of military training is soon down three floors of the Helli-carrier and has reached the prison cell level. Fury finds Rhino slumped against a wall. Fury is about to check on him when he gets slammed into the wall himself. Fury rolls to one side and finds Killer Croc standing above him.
Who will win this fight?
Nick Fury
Colonel Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury is a fictional World War II army hero and present-day super-spy in the Marvel Comics universe. Fury first appeared in Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos a combat series that portrayed the cigar-chomping Fury as leader of an elite U.S. Army unit. The character now makes frequent appearances in Marvel comic books as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and as an intermediary between the U.S. government or the United Nations and various superheroes. It is eventually revealed that Fury takes a special medication called the Infinity Formula that halted his aging and allows him to be active despite being chronologically nearly a century old. Recently Nick Fury launched a covert assault on the leadership of Latveria, who were plotting a massive attack on America, using a small team of heroes consisting of Captain America, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Wolverine, Daredevil and the Black Widow. One year after the assault, the Latverian forces launched a counter-attack, which resulted in Luke Cage being hospitalized, Fury's friendship with Captain America became strained, and Fury was removed as S.H.I.E.L.D. commander and forced into hiding, with numerous international warrants out for his arrest. He will return to help in the upcoming secret invasion of the Skrulls. His abilites include halted aging from the Infinity Formula, skilled and experienced soldier with many weapons and fighting techniques.
vs
Killer Croc
Waylon Jones, a former croc wrestler turned into a criminal deformed by mutation into a humongous humanoid lizard, has low intelligence but great strength, as well as crocodilian abilities, such as a keener sense of smell and the ability to hold his breath underwater for long periods of time. He is a long time villain of Batman, although now he is more of a monstrous supervillain looking for a cure in the past he has been a cocaine dealer and heavy for mobsters. He has been known to eat people.
