Apparently not, he seems to have a good time out there and I know some on here would love for him to be a heel again and go back to having matches with Regal that mostly smarks would care for, but this seems like a nice fit for him and Hornswoggle as the crowd loves it. I just feel like he's at a stage in his career where he's done all he can do (let's face it, Finlay was never gonna be a world champion, nor is he anywhere near a main event level player) and is now just having fun being a care free babyface. Nevermind that he can be used to help put people over/work with some of the newer guys I agree wholeheartedly, and he's doing just fine in his role, he's recognizable to the WWE audience and can work with the younger guys and help put them over like the Miz/Morrison duo.

The worst thing though is what they've done to Finlay's charecter. Has anyone even considered that Finlay likes what he is doing now? This. He's at the age (50) now where he's not going to be a main eventer, doesn't need a belt to get over, and will probably retire/scale down his wrestling in the next few years. He's highly regarded by a lot of the wrestlers as a great worker and has a fairly safe job behind the scenes as one of the most respected agents that has particularly helped a lot of the girls get better in the ring. I think at this stage of his career he just wants to have a bit of fun entertaining kids with Hornswoggle, which is a good position to have when WWE is trying to appeal to children and families more in the PG era. I think as long as Hornswoggle's not forced on us in a major storyline, and they don't overdo the leprechaun stuff I don't have much of a problem with him these days.

I don't really care much for Hornswoggle, but as long as they keep him out of any major storylines, it's all good.
Although, for the love of Tom Cruise, give Finlay back his "My name is Finlay, and I love to fight" music.

Hornswoggle has been the single worst thing about the WWE since his debut. The WWE had their #1 storyline revolving around him for, like, 6 months. Think about how absurd that is and why people are pining for the days of old.

Think about how absurd that is and why people are pining for the days of old. You make it sound as if it's fact that it was the worst thing about WWE. I'm sure there were far worse things (Katie Vick) that have come down the pike. If the segments with him are that much of a bother, just change the channel till it's over. He's popular and entertains the viewers, he's not going anywhere.

hammerstien ballroom says hello, erupt? really? thats stretching it, im aware kids dig him, but i find a 12 second focus shot on the top turnbuckle more entertaining the him. Hammerstein Ballroom is filled with 2500 smarks, The Garden holds about 18,000 for a house show, I'd wager 8000 Smarks. And they went nuts when he did the Tadpole Splash, probably the biggest pop of the night. i ment in terms of smarkiness, nothing comes close, i digress though, i know full well he isnt leaving anytime soon, luckily he's on ECW and i almost never watch it.
