Sim Snuka is definitely a bad name. I think Deuce Snuka sounds better than Sim Snuka, not that Deuce Snuka is that great a name. I wouldn't have minded him going by Jimmy Snuka, Jr since that is closer to his real name. His real name is James Reiher, Jr. He took Jimmy Snuka's name when he was adopted. I guess Sim is supposed to sound like a name one might find in the Fiji Islands, but it sounds a little odd seeing that his father's name was Jimmy (actually James). Actually, how about just Jim Snuka? Also, I am in the camp that thinks a wrestler's attire matters. If you're attire isn't working; then you're not working. His attire isn't working. I think black jeans and a black tanktop or singlet (sort of a mix of how he looked as Deuce with his current look) would work. Also, his old finisher, Crack 'em in the Mouth,' was kind of over for awhile on SmackDown. I don't understand why he doesn't use that anymore. Probably since Batista had been using a version of it as a regular move for a few weeks.

His debut attire (Indy debut, not WWE/OVW) was pretty neat. Simple tights with blue designs.
Kind of unrelated, but a few wrestlers said that a myth has it that wearing silver is bad luck.

I honestly thought it was a case that he went out there to say that his name was Jim Smuka, Jr tripped over his own tongue, and WWE ran with it to either cover the mistake or vince decided that it sounded better anyways. Who knows?

It is a pretty dumb name. Should have just gone with Deuce Shade. And his attire is pretty bleh too. But I still like 'em. his attire is like that because the dude is fat.

If he was not in Legacy, I'd say he should of kept Deuce Shade from OVW....and keep his catch phrase "This is Deuce Shade....Shufflin' The Deck!"

Who knows? Jim would just be... weird. It is kind of amusing he looks more like Rock than his dad. Sssssim Snuka. Ssssssim Snuka. Damn, I'm really starting to like this name more and more.

They still have some basic moves that everyone uses that some use as finishers because they do them better.

I agree, but for some reason he seemed to be switching more towards that jump kick he uses now, anyway, even near the end of D&D. Not sure why, maybe guys were getting hurt?

He fits that smash mouth style that an enforcer should have, plus his kicks rule You mean smash face, in your mouth style.

It's also relatively similar to Orton's PUNT...OF.....DOOM, which is a more obvious reason why he wouldn't use it.

I also had that in mind, but I figured that since Regal does the knee to the head, it's possible that might not be the issue.

Wait, if he is Jimmys adopted son why would he resemble him like Lawler said?

Wait, if he is Jimmys adopted son why would he resemble him like Lawler said? No idea. Maybe he thinks all Samoans look alike, the racist. Kidding. I remember hearing speculation that Snuka adopted him to cover up for the fact he wasn't married to the mother, but that's just speculation.

He seems so transitional right now like he stuck between gimmicks...I keep waiting for him to have some identity other than...I'm Sim Snuka Superflys son.
Yeah okay and?

Wait, if he is Jimmys adopted son why would he resemble him like Lawler said? It was probably not a very thought out line and was said to contrast him with his dad. Also, it is possible that Lawler doesn't know that Sim Snuka is Superfly's adopted son. Also, I suspect that it is incorrect to call the Snukas Samoan since Jimmy Superfly is from the Fiji Islands, which are not part of Samoa. I believe they would be called Fiji Islanders or Fijians, though Sim Snuka is apparently from Hawaii so a vague term could be Pacific Islander or even Hawaiian. Afa claims that the Snukas are related to the Samoan wrestling family, but I think the Snukas are not truly Samoan.

This Legacy thing is obviously what they are doing in place of the Hart Foundation 2.0, which would've been so much better. Actually I think Hart Foundation 3.0 would be the only stable with the chance to emphatically outdo The Legacy in terms of general blandness and of "who's that guy and what has he done to get a spot there?" factor. I mean, at least The Legacy has Orton. A semi-quasi-almost established Main Eventer. And some other boring guys who happen to have a dad who wrestled for WWE some decades ago. Hart Foundation 3.0 with DH Smith, that other Wilson guy, Natalya and who else? Teddy "I'm not an Hart" Hart? Good God...

I swear like 2 minutes before he said the line about Snuka he was joking about Rudolph leaving him a present on his roof. I think it's far more likely than him 'not knowing he was an adopted son'.

I love how he said Snuka might not approve or the like, when Snuka hasn't actually done anything bad yet.

And is the OP kidding me? Sim's had 2 matches and 2 backstage segments where he's said about 2 words in each, and you already know that he'll never get over?
