Man, I remember how it was a big deal that Bret Hart was the first ever Triple Crown champion in the WWF, and that took him from 1984 (his debut year) to 1987 (Tag Belts), 1991 (IC Title), and late 1992 (World).

Except for the WWF falsely claimed he was the first. Pedro Morales won the WWF Title in 1971, WWF Tag Titles in 1980, and WWF Intercontinental Title in 1980 and again in 1981 He was also the "WWWF United States Champion" in 1971 until he won the World Title.

I think a few people have missed the point of the Punk stat. It's the fastest from first title to last, not the fastest from debut.

I'm just tired of people believing all of this. When someone claims that fastest to do something, you start by going when they first started. The fact that Diesel did all of this in under a year is far more impressive and far more noteworthy than doing all with a time frame of each other. Has WWE even stated when the time frame starts? If it's from WWE debut or from the time of the first title win? technically he dbuted in ECW..look at when he started on Raw and onwards.. (i'm using wwe logic ) and how many titles can you win on ECW? Exactly....Punk is the fastest Triple Crown in history. Face it!

Kevin Nash was far more impressive. They didnt have 3 world titles,2 tag team titles, countless mid card titles, 3 shows a week, and a PPV every month where anything could happen when Nash was going. He was far more over then Punk is now and belts didnt change hands every one or two months. Getting the tag team titles, or Intercontinental title put on you at that time means you went over guys like Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon. Not William Regal. That carries more prestige than winning a title that hasent been relevant since Chris Benoit-Kurt Angle-Chris Jericho feuded over it. The tag team titles in a division that has nothing but sucky not over tag teams..didnt Kofi and Punk lose their only title defense? His world title run was forgettable. Nash was champ for a year.
I just think 227 days in 1994 WWF is more impressive than 203 days in 2008-2009 WWE.
I remember the world title would only change hands at one of the big 5(WM,RR,Summerslam,Survivor Series, King Of The Ring) untill 1998 when Stone Cold got pinned by the Undertaker and Kane at Breakdown. Ever since than, the belt can change any week, any month at any PPV.

There are shoes that can give you six pack abs and a firm toned buttocks? Why is this just now coming to my attention?

I'm-a keep living in the fanciful romantic delusion that Punk and Maria are meant for each other and will live happily ever after if noone minds

I think that a possible match for Mania is Cena vs CM Punk now. I can see Orton/Austin as the big special attraction match. But this natural year-long storyline of CM Punk starting from last year's MITB and being built up from scratch after his WHC loss and winning the lower level belts for historical quick succession can be a good backstory to a World Title match against John Cena. And it could be the only Face vs Face match at this year's mania. Keep dreaming

That's why Punk's my choice for the Rumble. I also think Cena/Punk would be all types of greatness. Hell Cena/Punk/Orton would be awesome
