I found a VHS copy of "Libido Terror," for three-hundred fifty dollars; needless to say, that is quite rare.
What's the rarest film you've found online? And what is the most difficult film to track down?

Off topic, but for the longest time I thought Gone With The Wind was the first movie ever made and that's why people made such a fuss over it.

I guess a lot of movies made before 1930 will hard to find.
Plus movies studios want to keep buried like 'Song Of The South'

Tons of silent, regional and foreign films that aren't just rare, but outright lost now.
I've been looking for a 1960s movie called Demon from Devil's Lake for decades now. it just isn't out there. Even the people who worked on it have no clue whatever happened to it.

London After Midnight and The Four Devils come to mind, but those are feared to be just outright lost (not that people aren't still looking).
And there's the missing footage from Orson Welles' The Magnificent Ambersons (heathen studio execs axed an hour of the movie and burned every copy of that footage they could find!). Come to think of it, that movie isn't available at all any more (I hug my precious laserdisc copy every night).
It's available on DVD now, but boy was it a bitch finding White Dog for the last twenty-seven years! Or at least a watchable copy.

As I head out for the night, just remembered about that one movie Jerry Lewis made where he's a clown during WW2 that never got released and the only print is sealed in his vault.

The uncut version of Twice Upon a Time - I have a veoh player copy, but the only existing versions are ones that people taped off of TV in the early 80s.

The 1994 superhero epic that was The Fantastic Four! Snagged a copy from ebay - it truly is as bad as they say! I also managed to find a copy of the Barry Bostwick / Michael Beck schlock fest that is 'Megaforce' after years of looking for thi piece of crap. Well worth it!

It was rereleased not too long ago, but the original 1998 DVD release of Salo is considered the rarest DVD in the world and often costs up to $1000.

Blood Circus is impossible to track down. According to the official Santo Gold website: www.santogold.com/ "THE OFFICIAL SANTO GOLD WEB SITE" Breaking news: THE ACTUAL Blood Circus Masters AND 35MM NEGATIVES, 1st., full length 35mm Wrestling film reported lost for 23 yrs., have now been found and Limited License Rights are now available for Executive Producers to come forward and contact us! He may be able to sell a couple dvd's of that crap, but noone's paying for "limited" license rights of that. The short clips that are available just look beyond awful.

The other problem with this is that he's a notorious fraudster who did time for credit card fraud on a massive scale, and is certainly just waiting to scam people.

Until it's release on dvd several years ago Cheerleader Camp 2 a.k.a Camp Fear was a sought after film. Rumors floated around that a young Uma Thurman had a part in the film.
Until a dvd company found Camp Fear and released it. We learned it had nothing to do with either Cheerleading or Uma Thurman, but it is a total camp (as in cheesy) horror film.
