Just finished the graphic novel. So f***ing bad ass. I really enjoyed it. I can't quite put my finger on it but for some reason Nite Owl II ended up being my favorite character in the book. The team of him and Rorschach is great. Going to see the film tonight at midnight and I can't wait. I'm really intrigued to see how they pull off the ending.

Downloaded Watchmen The End is Nigh demo. Would not recommend purchase of full game. However throwing scum from second floor is worthwhile. Must remember to kill more while avoiding spending any money. Piling filth on top of filth doesn't solve problems, nightstick does.

I think it screws with things a lot, but I just skipped the vids and got to the "Giving someone a backbreaker then elbowing them in the balls when they're over your knee" fun. They did capture Rorschach pretty well. Like he walks with his hands in his coat. Few minutes of fun there. He also muses on how crappy the world is most of the time.

Thanks Matt! Downloading the demo now for PS3...if I like it well enough, I'll DL the full thing. Who knows, I might like it better than you did, LOL!

Sweet! I mean don't get me wrong, it's plenty of fun, especially when you unlock his rush where you just pick someone up and run into a wall with them. I could just see it being veeery repetetive.
Still, I liked the demo!

I think I know who wrote the review..... Nah, his was only two words long. Anyway I just got back from seeing it and I really liked it. It wasn't amazing, but it didn't have to be. It was what it was and that was enough. Now one thing I found was that I actually liked some of the changes made in the film more than what happened in the comic. I liked the ending of the film more than the comic. And IMO the reactions of everyone at the end was more believable than what occurred originally. So yeah, I enjoyed it. But I can only really give it around seven thumbs up.

Still, I liked the demo! Downloaded the full game. Am in the process of playing it now. Sucks that they don't have a full out RUN feature. You just kind of shuffle away from bad guys, and some of them have very long reaches. Rorschach's combos are especially brutal though. Very happy about that.

My favorite character was the Comedian. I don't why. I guess it was because he just didn't give a f***. He was the way he was, and if you didn't like it, then screw you! Also, he was so cruel and amoral, yet at times he was capable of being gentle and having deep insites. Hell, his view of the world is what ultimately leads Ozymandias to begin his huge plot to save the world.

Caught the Silk Spectre preview while watching the season finale of Burn Notice. Very cool. Particularly enjoyed the use of Massive Attack. Also caught Crudup on The Daily Show. People sure like talkin' about Manhattan's big blue weiner.
Just thought I'd share.

Well, a little less than 3 hours to go for the midnight showing here. At first I wasn't going to go, but I'm really excited for this movie and it's been years since I went to a movie at midnight.

We're not getting a midnight release here in Roseburg. God DAMN it, anyway. Bet they'd give it one if it were Larry the Cable Guy's next movie.

I am convinced, Cela, that the man will play everything EXCEPT a cable guy during his long and fruitful movie career.
And you know why?
Because it would confuse his fans. Think about THAT for a second.
