I never saw the post, sorry.
As for question 2, none of the mods have access to your personal messages. I can't go in and see what you sent someone else.

I don't know if I brought it up in this thread before, but are there plans for, or has there been talk of modifying the whole "Don't go in the thread if you KNOW you don't like the subject matter" thing? I mean, I think that if that rule doesn't exist, it might just need to. I understand that everyone has their opinions on what they like, and what they don't. I understand that fruitful conversation is going to consist of debates and disagreement. But there's going into a RAW thread and saying you don't care for the product and backing that up with logic and reason, and then there's going into a thread about a specific person and and ragging about their appearance.
I personally think this should apply to all the DIVA threads...otherwise, you end up with guys going into threads to purposely slag on that girl's looks and try and start fights. I've said it once, and I'll say it til the end of time: NO ONE IS MAKING YOU CLICK ON HER THREAD. If you're so DAMN sick of her, why are you in the thread? Just seems like it ought to fall under the auspices of the "flamebaiting" rule....especially when it's purely inflammatory BS, and not mature discussion such as "The outfit does no favors, blah blah, the lighting is not kind to her pale complexion, blah blah". There's a difference between THAT and going "She's butt ugly and I hate her. What a fat ugly bitch. They should fire her."
THAT kind of crap is what I'm saying ought to fall under the trolling/flamebaiting rules, if it doesn't already.
Sorry about the length...kind of got wound up and lost my focus.

There's always been an unwritten rule of sorts here as it pertains to Appreciation and De-Appreciation threads. If a thread is labeled that, just .. leave it alone if you feel the opposite of what's being posted. If someone says something factually incorrect, then feel free to step in. But if someone makes a post wanting to appreciate that great match on Raw, don't go posting in that thread trying to rip it apart. It's a pretty jackass move and a lot of the time you'll get a warning over it.
We'll never be able to make something like that an official, 100% written rule though, because then 3/4 of the threads posted here will be labeled with unnecessary "APPRECIATION" and "DE-APPRECIATION" labels so people can claim they're covering their asses over it.
What you're talking about frustrates me from time to time as well, but it's just something you have to deal with on a board like this. Once a thread is made as an open topic, it's open to any and all opinions and viewpoints. There is of course harsh and then there's going way over the line. Just going in to an open topic to voice your displeasure, even harshly, isn't enough to warrant a warning. In the cases where it goes over the line, it's dealt with. We're starting to clamp down about wrestler bashing more and more, seeing as it seems to be the new "cool" thing for the bad seeds here to harp on. We can't be every where at once though. Some things will probably get missed, especially if they aren't as blatant as "I hope that bitch dies."
So no, I wouldn't tell any one to hold their breath about a uniform "stick to what you like" thread policy being born any time in the near or distant future. If you feel someone has gone over the line in repetitiveness or maliciousness, just let one of us know and we'll do what we can.

Just so I'm totally clear on the rule, I cannot link to a site that has full matches, specifically Japanese stuff, available for download, correct?

I have two strikes. While I try my utmost to follow the rules I feel I may inadvertently receive another. What will the consequences be if this happens.

What is the particular policy regarding publicly issuing warnings and/or bans? I was under the impression that it was generally frowned upon, as it tends to breed the "Helper Police," and for that reason, things were kept under wraps from the general posting populace. I could, however, very well be mis-remembering a conversation we had in AaM from a couple years ago and have it completely bass ackwards.

Usually, the mods don't give public warnings, unless it's a post in a thread, where we try to keep as civil as we can possibly do. Such as the Michael Jackson thread. It's in major topics, like that where the mods are extra strict, and use some instances as examples on what not to do, lest you want to feel the wrath of the ban hammer. =)

I have a question about the early days of TNA.
Do all TNA-related questions go in the same forum? The reason I ask is because of the way the WWF/E is broken up into pre-1996 and Attitude era.

Also, where do I find the FAQ thread? Every time I just want to double check something, I can never seem to find it.
Also, shouldn't it be stickied or something so that I and others who might have the same concerns can find it easier?

I would say it should be ok in TNA forum. The company is not that old and all stuff, though almost 8 years, is still kinda recent in the world of wrestling.
And all FAQ stuff is in the Rules section at the top of the forum.

Hey just a quick question about asterisk swearing, isn't it that you can't show any letters of the word or can you do "****ing"?

How do I combine two-three pictures into one picture for my sig?

Probably a simple question, but I don't know where else to ask. How do I combine two-three pictures into one picture for my sig? I just used Paint to make my mash up collage, then uploaded it to Photobucket. Don't know if thats what you will want to do, but its worth a shot.

Is there a limit to how many threads you can bookmark? I've noticed that now and then that a couple of threads I had bookmarked (most of them old) are no longer there, and I'm wondering if it's a limit Proboards have or if it's a bug or whatever.
I only looked through the latter half of the thread so apologies if that has been asked.

That would be the reason why some of your bookmarks are no longer valid. We have yet to figure out a solution to this problem.
