The newest Xbox 360 model that supposedly fixes the RRoD problem (as much as it can be fixed, anyway) by having a 65nm GPU (the Falcon models had a 65nm CPU, but the problem apparently was in the GPU which was still the old 90nm version).

The lot number(LOT NO: 0845X). Its above the UPC bar code. If the lot number is above 0844, you should have a Jasper. Then look at the cutout in the card board box. Above all the serial number stuff there should be manufacture date. If that date is November 2008 or later it should be a Jasper. Or if you can rip open that little window a little bit more till you can read the "Made In China". There's a group of numbers like this "12V-xx,xA:5V-1A". If the part "xx,xA" is "12,1A", then you have a Jasper. After you open the box look at the power brick. The output DC rating should 150W. If its 175W its not a Jasper.

Cool, I finally got decent-looking black pants for my Xbox Live avatar! Now they only need to give us that semi-long black coat and this little guy will be even more of a frighteningly accurate recreation of myself...

I had found the specs, but not where to find them exactly. I think I should be back online by wed.

Does the front of the CD drive on a 360 also show if it's a Jasper model or not? Since the first 360 I had had a silver CD tray cover, while this new one I have has a white CD tray cover...

No, the silver tray cover is only in Xbox 360 Premium (and Elite, I believe). The other versions (Arcade, etc.) have the white cover.

I decided to take out the Sinbad picture from my powerpoint. That'd go over everyone's head, and I'd feel like an idiot.

I finally opened my copy of Left 4 Dead and my Live isn't working. Bleh. Some f***ing thing pinned me down and I could see the outline of my teammates running in the opposite direction outside.

I had no idea that the bonus radio songs introduced in The Lost and Damned would actually play in the main GTA IV... but sure enough, that was "Saturday Night Special" by Lynyrd Skynyrd that just came on as I was driving around looking for random characters.

Gotta love the AI teammates. Having them running in the opposite direction seems allot better then having them standing right next to you while your pinned by the hunter. The past couple of nights they've been doing odd odd things.

And since T.L. hasn't mentioned it, we started out with an innocent little Left 4 Dead campaign, and quickly degenerated into a cesspool filled with kinky Arsenio Hall.

Damn, that means I don't have a Jasper. Crap. Should have gotten the Best Buy service plan.
