Until they started doing single-brand PPVs, I'd get each monthly PPV. Now I just get the Big 4 (and possibly ECW One Night Stand this year).

Never ordered one until Backlash '04, and that was only for Orton/Foley. Mainly Foley. Haven't ordered one since, and thus far don't really feel like I've missed anything.

It used to be a month by month thing for me. If there was a big gimmick match or something I would order. If it was just a transitional PPV where you knew nothing important would happen, I wouldn't.
These days, brand only PPVS don't even register on the radar for me. Seeing the HHH or JBL show, isn't that appealing.
Of the big 4, I usually order atleast 3.

I like the Blast Areas they have. The one bar we go to has all the PPV's for free. No cover charge.
I do, however order the Mania's and probably will for the ECW one because I will want to be alone with myself for my own personal mark out moments instead of being in a trash bar.

I get the big 4, but I always end up buying every PPV on DVD anyway.

I wait until the DVD comes out. That way, instead of paying $50 to watch it once, I can wait 'til I hear if the show is good or crap, and then drop $20 to watch it as many times as I want.

My cousin and I always watch the BIG 4. We usually also watch ALL Raw brand PPV's lately. The last Smackdown PPV I watched was the Eddie v. Bradshaw strap match. That match was great BUt the rest of the card stunk! Since then I haven't even gave a damn about Smackdown.
Raw Brand fan here.

If the PPV is good, I'll order it. I won't order just because it's the Rumble or Wrestlemania, or whatever.
Also, I won't order Smackdown PPV's..more then likely...at least I haven't even bothered for the past 1 1/2 years.

I have only ordered two PPVs in my life. Rock Bottom and Wrestlemania XV. I was younger than and was more impressed, basically, by crap. Now I'm a little smarter, well not much, and I know not to order any PPVs from the WWE that don't look good enough and none of them did from that time (I also stopped watching wrestling from around 1999-late 2002). I get a lot of PPVs on DVD. I have ordered Turning Point by TNA and Victory Road. I'm thinking of getting Slamiversary though.

I have only paid for a pay per view once in my life. It was WM2000. This was during the big wrestling boom period, and therefore a lot of our friends were into wrestling back then. We got the "Wrestlemania All Day" thing they had for WM2000 and about 25 people showed up at our place to watch the WHOLE thing.
Funny, 25+ people I knew were wrestling fans back then. Now I think maybe 2 or 3 of my friends still like it.
Other than that, I either watched PPVs at the sports bar, or at someone's house who had a descrambler or illegal satellite hookup.
Despite only paying for one PPV in my life, there was a time between 1998 and late 2002 when I only missed one PPV, Royal Rumble 2002, because the sports bar's satellite screwed up.
In late '02 I got out of WWF/E and the only 3 PPVs I've watched since were the 3 Wrestlemanias. In fact, I'm still not THAT into WWE at the moment... I just like this board a lot!
Oh yeah... and I was at Survivor Series 2000 LIVE in Tampa. You know, the one where HHH got dropped from a crane, in a car, by Austin.

Instead of paying the 40 bucks for a PPV I pay $13 and watch it at a theatre. My parents say that they nail you on the cost for food but I just bring my own food in and I'm set for 4 hours.

I've never ordered a PPV. Before I had satellite, I was either unable to or didn't care. Now I have the ability to order them, but have a friend who orders every single WWE PPV, and most TNA ones, and invites the lot of us over to watch.
So, I've kinda lucked out in that regard. ;D

I get them determined by how I'm feeling at the time combined with the card. If I'm really down and need something exciting or something, I'll get it. If I'm already feeling good and the card isn't anything special, I'll skip it.

I used to save $10 every month, and split the cost with my brother and best friend. Then again, that was 6 years ago. Now, I just read results online, and piece together the match in my head. It works out pretty well, except when the results are vague about a move.
