Do you think there is hope of WWE to become WWF again in the future? Sure the World Wildlife Fund was there first, but could the WWE just pay them to use their name again?

Nope. I think they're comfortable in their role as an "Entertainment" provider, and not a "Federation".
Besides. Those panda bastards are too greedy.

what if we all did our part to put the panda into extiniction. then the wildlife fund would have no reason to exsist and our wrestling show can get its real name back. im not happy with the name wwe either and i would love it if we could go back to wwf. if one meaningless, not yummy species has to go away for it, i'll be alright.

Um.... wow.
For one thing, the WWF is about MUCH more than pandas. It's called the "wildlife" fund for a reason, the panda is just a simple black-and-white animal that can be used for a logo. And that's pretty closed-minded to wish for the extinction of an entire species just so you can have a change in the name of an entertainment company. I hope to God you were kidding.

I would be kidding if the Wildlife Fund weren't complete pricks about it.

Not you, I was talking about Wed.Night. I agree the WWF was rather greedy about it, holding on to a name that was much more widely recognized by someone else and making them give it up.

As long as the 5 WWE Superstars are Scotty 2 Hotty, Spike Dudley, Shannon Moore, Josh Matthews, and Todd Grisham... just for the sake of watching them get the living sh*t kicked out of them by frickin pandas.

I just wonder how many pandas died because the Wildlife Fund spend all it's money sueing professional wrestling? I'll be sure to make any future charitable donations elsewhere. Maybe a fund that actually spends it's money on saving animals . . .

I just find it ridiculous that they can't use the WWF scratch logo in old video. I can understand not being able to SAY WWF, but a logo? Give me a break.

I think WWE is actually good for where we are right now.
WWF=WWF. WWE=WWF + WCW + ECW, and other crap like movies and books.

Vince might get sued for false advertising for using the word "Entertainment" at least for some shows.

Meh, it's been a couple of years I figure the WWE is here to stay.. and actually if the World Wildlife Fund's contention was that people automatically assumed WWF meant wrestling, I'd dare say that "taking back the intials" ( was theirs first) did little to nothing to change that.

Personally, I always could tell the difference whether they were talking about the panda people or the wrestling federation. Even was I was a little kid, somehow I could tell. So, what the World Wildlife Fund is saying is that they believe that people are too damn stupid to tell the difference between the panda WWF and the wrestling WWF. I guess they think pandas are smarter than the average human.
