I wish he'd do a RAW or 2 now and again. Its been almost 8 years since he did it full time.

My all-time favourite Vince commentating moment comes from the Royal Rumble 1994. Adam Bomb enters at number 30: Vince : "Adam Bomb's gonna win the Royal Rumble!" Everyone else in the world: "Yeah, when Hell freezes over".

I loved his thing at the start of the royal rumble ppvs were he'd announce all the guys in it (He wasn't commentating the events, which was a shame)

I loved the beginning of the 1989 Survivor Series when Vince would rundown all the competitors in the teams. When announcing Macho Man's team, it was meant to be the Widowmaker who was replaced by Earthquake. It's a shame that Vince says "And the Earthquake" in a completely different tone of voice than the rest of the team.

"Un-Be-Lievable" Greatest most overused Vince commentating line, it was especially funny when he would use it to describe a dropkick, or something simple like that. I did enjoy Vince's commentary though.

In the old days he'd go face way too far, as in "C'mon Mr. Referee!" (no joke) and "Ivan Putski - certainly a massive individual" (not sure what he was referring to).

I agree with Vince never being able to commentate anymore due to the Attitude Era but it might be a way for us to cherish the good ol' days along with No HHH, Bret Hart and so much more

Yup, but I was thinking about WM 8, when he would intro the PPV, and always end with, "It's WWWWWRRRREEESSSSTTTTTLLLEEEMMMAAANNNIIIIAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!" damn, just to let you know the impact that had on me, I have goosebumps now just THINKING about that. Say what you will about Vince, but the man knew Hype.

Vince would be a good tetiary commentator, or a colour commentator. I don't really like him doing play by play, but he can do some of the promo and stuff very well; that is usually done by the pbp commentator, but Vince does hype way better than JR does. He kicks ass as colour, too.

Vince as an announcer pissed me the hell off. He was a serviceable face announcer at a time when that could earn you a paycheck. But they NEEDED JR to be the play-by-play guy or he and King sounded like idiots.
