While HIAC 2 with Mankind/Taker is legendary for the bumps, and the fact that taker and Mankind worked that match injured and possibly ad libbed most of the spots.
HIAC 1 is the best cage match, brawl, extreme...whatever you'd like to call it.
The match had great brawling, was intense, had a great buildup, and had the dEbut of KANE.
The run in did not ruin the match for me, it added to HBK's sneaky Lie, Cheat, and Steal character.

I didn't leave that match off...it's right there. Hmmm. I swear that wasn't there before. Still, you have no Snow/Bossman. That sucks!

Technically the Bossman/Snow match wasn't a HIAC as it had an extra cage (I think) and was called a kennel match.....
I do agree with the others that HIACs are overused it seems, they should do one every 2-3 years as they are supposed to be brutal. That and I'd like to see some old school "big blue" cage matches every now and then instead.....

I need to see more of them . . .
of the ones I have seen. . .. Foley v Taker was off the chart for sheer craziness so it gets my vote.
HBK v Taker was cool too though . . .
Bossman v Taker . . . . . er yeahh . . . er . . . enough . .
HHH v Foley . . . ok but not great . . .
Nash v HHH . . . . . oh dear not even foley as guest ref could save this . .. .
Which PPV is the 6 man cell on as I really want to watch that . . . . . .
oh and i'm about to watch HHH v HBK in a cell . . . . I refuse to believe it is that horrendous . . . . I'll return with a verdict . . . .

I voted for Foley-Undertaker as it was an incredibly memorable match.
Just behind that I would put Triple H-Michaels and Foley-Triple H.
I have seen a lot of people bashing the HBK-H HIAC, but I found it to be one hell of an entertaining match. I get into long matches with a lot of action though, so I guess that is why I enjoyed it.

The quality of Taker/Foley HIAC may not have been that high, but it gets my vote because of Foley laying his body on the line for the entertainment of the fans. I remember thinking, "Ok, Taker, it's your turn to take a sick bump," but that never happened. Says a lot about the 2 men, doesn't it?

That was a thought that made me wonder years later but I think it's best explained this way. What do you remember more, those sick bumps or Taker winning? Foley was the star of that match so I'm sure he's happy...

Gotta be the original. If for nothing else, the way HBK blades himself mid-slingshot.

Taker vs Brock was an awesome match and it stayed within the cell. I think it deserves more credit so i voted for it.

I did one of these a little while ago, but I screwed it up and hit enter too early . Same choices I put as well. Great minds think alike . I went with HBK/Taker. The match itself is just great. Nice bump and great debut for Kane. Overall, the best match out of the hell in a cells. Taker/Foley had the great spots in it and I really did enjoy it for what Foley did, but it was really a pretty slow moving fifteen minute match revolving around two SICK bumps and then the thumb tacks. I liked it, but not my favorite. I really did not like the Six man HIAC. Rikishi's bump was crap and a pretty good amount of the fighting took place in like the little prop car lot. Maybe I'm missing something, but I just didn't enjoy it. Trips/Foley was pretty good as well, but involved two bumps from Foley's with Taker, which I felt took away from the match.

I don't even feel like calling Rikishi's fall a bump because all he did was fall into the back of a truck full of hay......either don't do it (preferred) or go all the way.

SHAWN MICHAELS AND UNDERTAKER HAD THE BEST ONE EVER, IT WAS THE FIRST ONE I BELIEVE. HBK I THINK CAME UP WITH THE IDEA. MAYBE IT WAS UNDIE, I COULD BE WRONG

The six man HIAC sucked.
It was basically the six guys beating each other up outside the cage, one decent spot and then the finish.
Horrible....
The best of course is from KOTR 98. That match put HIAC on the map and make it an instant money maker. Well, until HHH ruined the concept.

Undertaker vs. Shawn takes the cake.
And, despite what anybody says, Mick Foley vs. Undertaker did suck.
Two big spots + s***ty wrestling does not make a match good. Yeah, sure, the bumps added credibility to the PPV since they were awesome, but the match itself sucked balls.

I enjoyed the Foley/taker HIAC, but Foley described that match as being memorable compared to the Titanic being memorable... both were disasters. Foley will be forever know thanks to those bumps and I don't think it will ever be duplicated again.
I haven't seen the 6 man HIAC, but I prefer HBK/Taker or Brock/Taker.

... you took out Bossman vs. Taker but left in Nash vs. Trips? Whatever... I went with Foley vs. Taker, What's crazier is that someone actually VOTED for it. There were maybe two things I remember from that match, and that was Foley's bump off the apron into the cage, and HHH bringing out a toolbox and whacking Nash's ankle with a socket wrench. Neither of those will make it into any highlight reels any time soon, unless it's another one of HHH's "I am a HIAC GOD" packages.
