Chris Masters is your hero? Let's hear it for lowered expectations, folks!

Cause it was precious Stevie Richards [/sarcasm] Not necessarily that, but because Stevie really got crapped on by the WWE and the injury was but bitter icing on an already bitter cake.....he deserved so much better than to be put out of commision by this craptacular oaf.

Actually it is a pretty decent finisher, they're just wasting it on the wrong guy. And even worse by using it on plants.

This is what I've been saying all along....unless they're going to pay this off with a Superstar hiding in the audience, Masters needs to stop calling out the plants. And the Full Nelson is no more rediculous than the Sleeper or Camel Clutch, IMHO.

Uh, Masters mic skills are sub-par, he has no charisma, his wrestling skills are awful and he has a mediocre physique by WWE standards. C'mon, the guy managed to break Stevie's face with arguably one of the simplest moves in his limited arsenal because he's a clumsy oaf and after that, WWE made him change the way he did the move to avoid injuries, so that it looed stupid. Without going back to OVW and learning how to wrestle and compensate for his deficiencies on the mic, he has no future at all. I say again - I have more potential to be a WWE superstar than Masters, and I have no wrestlign training! So the guy is very green, give him a chance. Not everyone is gold the second they step in the ring and just because he isn't incredible now doesn't mean he'll never amount to anything. Sure, I'm not a big fan of his, but we've seen him in one match, true he injured Stevie, but he's GREEN and very powerful. I somewhat agree with what you said about him at first, but c'mon, the whole "mediocre physique" is just wrong, seriously, that's the guys gimmick, he's in incredible shape. And I think he could pull off the cocky heel very well, he's beginning to touch on that in his promos, so I'll give him a chance. Let's just hope he's training a lot in between shows so he can have some real matches against real competitors because the Masterlock challenge isn't getting him over at all.

So riddle me this. If you admit the guy's green, why the hell should he be getting air time? Shouldn't he be jobbing out on Heat until he figures it out?

No, he should be in OVW figuring it out! They sent the Big Show, a former WCW champion there....why not Masters?

So riddle me this. If you admit the guy's green, why the hell should he be getting air time? Shouldn't he be jobbing out on Heat until he figures it out? I never said he deserves air time, I'm just saying we shouldn't shoot the guy down within two months of his debut. Personally, I'd love for them to just drop the Masterlock Challenge, send him into training a little longer, and have him actually WRESTLE rather than wasting time making plants submit. I just thought it was stupid to say a guy who we've only seen for about a month or two has absolutely no potential.

Except when the guy really does have NO potential.

By comparison to his peers, it is a mediocre physique. It makes his gimmick seem like a joke, kinda like the man himself. Plus, if he's so green, why isn't he back down in OVW learning his craft. Green wrestlers have no business beign in the big leagues nowadays, especially ones who add nothing to the product in any way shape or form.

Nah, of the big guys he's got a pretty good physique but if he were on SD it would stand out more.....
It's just gonna take time to see if he's any good, I would like him to be seen less on TV and more in dark matches, give him 6-8 months doing dark matches and occasional pop in on tv and if he doesn't get better then yeah he sucks and won't improve.....

It's really nothing special in WWE terms, though. He needs another couple of years in OVW. Then maybe he'll be able to do something worthwhile.

I would cheer the Divas if they kicked Masters out of the ring. Trish Stratus could win the Masterlock challenge, as she has no neck to put a full nelson on.

He does have potential, but when you break someones nose in your first televised match, things might not be too bright.

I hate having to keep defending this guy because yeah, right now, he's not doing so hot, but that's not to say he has ZERO potential. Do I have to remind you that Batista started off as Rev DeVon's USHER?! Now look at him, World Heavyweight Champion.
I think some people are mistaking me saying he has potential with me saying he should stay on TV, I wouldn't mind one bit if he left for six months trained in OVW, but because he's not at a certain level now doesn't mean he'll NEVER be at that level.

HE'S NOT DONE ANYTHING THAT IMPRESSES ME ONE BIT. HE'S A 6'4 275 POUND BULLY. HE HASN'T HAD AN OFFICIAL MATCH YET. THESE MASTERLOCK CHALLENGES DON'T COUNT IN MY OPINION. THINK I'D RATHER SEE GENE SNITSKY, THAT'S HORRIBLE.

I hate to disagree with you Jennie about the physique, but at the two RAW tapings I've been to and the one house show I was at where he was present, he was easily the most impressive looking and defined man I saw there.
Also, great album that you plucked your name from, love the Hotnights.
