If I remember right, the reason for the lack of another PPV in Alabama is because the ticket sales for Armageddon was because of bad ticket sales. I could be wrong though.

But they gave you the Canadian Stampede! The PPV that made Scott Keith almost die from orgasmic bliss! The WWE don't owe you hosers anything, eh? ;D

I actually didn't hate International Incident as much as I hated Rock Bottom. When I worked for TSN.ca back in the day, we ran a poll on the worst PPV ever held in Canada, Rock Bottom won in a landslide (It was crap that was fresh in the memory then)
Canadian Stampede beat out WM6 for the best... kinda odd I thought, but the debut of Sasuke, the 5* tag match, and the incredible crowd do make it a memorable show.

Yea, the Canadian Stampede PPV, that was in Calgary. THe thread is about Vancouver. They are two different cities, but hey, what do you expect an American to know about Canadian geography? I think that WWE should run more shows in Vancouver along with Northern Ontario....and even up in Nunavut....anywhere but in Toronto, they always run the shows in Toronto and I understand that Toronto is a great place but honestly they have over done it. And Canadian beer is 100X better than American beer, and one more thing Canada is the greatest country ever.

Well, I'm all for diversity, but running Nunavut would be a travel nightmare, whereas Toronto has always been one of their core cities, before, during and after the national expansion... it's kind of a home away from home. Have they "overdone" MSG? Have they "overdone" Boston, Philly, the Meadowlands and Long Island? As for smaller towns and Northern Ontario etc, that would be nice, but it is a business in the end and the 2,000 fans in Timmins don't match up to the 20,000 in T.O.

Shows go to where they feel they will make the most money while following their schedule. That is all.

Yup, at New Blood Rising in August of 2000, roughly 6 months before WCW went belly up.
I've been to a couple of decent house shows in Vancouver. One was just before wrestlemania 14. The crowd was hot for everything, even DOA got a ridiculous pop. And throughout the night there was altleast 10 drunken fights in the crowd.
For some reason when they have the camera's rolling in Vancouver, the show sucks.
