Monday Night Wars is my fav. Probably the best time to be a wrestling fan. A real blast seeing a documentary with Monday nitro footage and Monday Night Raw footage the first time I saw it. One problem I had with RD's review is that he doesn't understand the statement "viewers were confused but interested". Actually that's very accurate, I was like in late middle school to early high at the time, and just then starting to accept that wrestling was *gasp* fake, so I was getting reeled into this angle, already having a good idea that it was all a story line, but I wanted it so bad I suspended my belief and truly believed Hall and Nash weren't part of wcw came to bother the hell out of everyone and point out what a bunch of hacks wcw was, even though in the back of my mind I'm like "but it's scripted so how can they really settle this in the ring?".

JMoney, imagine if both companies had organised some kind of joint PPV with WWF v WCW while still in full flow - that would have been great. Imagine how many people would have tuned in for that one !

It was a good DVD, but should have been 2 disc with more matches and promos. I own 50+ wrestling DVD's and here are some of my favorites.
Rise and Fall of ECW Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses Hulk Still Rules The Monday Night Wars

Monday Night Wars is amazing. I actually watched it today randomly. the part I HATE though is how they show the rock punking out jericho on his debut and not jericho actually debuting.

I thought Monday Night War was good, but the extras are rather crappy. I wish they'd included Foley's first title win to compare with Goldberg's which was an extra on the DVD.
Hopefully it's on Mick Foley's greatest hits and misses, and hopefully I'll get that soon.

Another AMAZING DVD I forgot to mention is The Best of RAW Volumes 1 and 2. It has TONS of extras and highlights just about everything from the Attitude Era.

The best I've seen was bloodbath: wrestling's bloodiest cage matches. I haven't seen MNWs or the RVD DVDs, so I won't say its the best overall.

I love Chris Benoit's because of the fantastic documentary and the absolute awesome matches. That match with Regal at the Brian Pillman Tribute Show was awesome.
All the ones they've released in 2004 have been awesome, though. Bloodbath, Rise and Fall of ECW, Monday Night Wars, WM XX (even though the card was abit shit, the dvd was awesome - I swear I started bawling whilst watching the bit of The Mania Of WM with The Rock and Austin and Austin telling us what they said after the match.), Eddie's and RVD's.

The Rise & Fall of ECW
I'm planning to do "a by the numbers" about the documentary.
Example: "How many times is the word 'emotion' and 'emotional' said"

I really enjoy those best of DVDs. The Chris Benoit one has the RR 03 match with Kurt, nuff said there.

The Rise & Fall of ECW I'm planning to do "a by the numbers" about the documentary. Example: "How many times is the word 'emotion' and 'emotional' said" LOL, since it's an ECW disk, why not make a drinking game?.. ;D One drink every time Joey says "OH MY GAWWWD!' Two for every time he says "DIOS MIO!" - ;D Five drinks for tough man Tazz choking back tears in that extra on disk 2. Two drinks for every guy who leaves ECW for WWF/WCW. One drink for every time an ECW chant breaks out.. LOL I think emotional/emotion is worth.. what.. two drinks each..? LOL
