I've been trapped in conversations with these middle aged (and usually drunk) men on the train a few times. Those are not fun, cause you don't wanna talk. You just wanna get the f*** home.
However, I did have one guy who started talking to me on the train once, and he wasn't that bad. He was a doctor and had been down in Africa for many years, working for Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), helping victims of war. And his story was quite interesting. And sad. One of the few times, I didn't end up pissed off cause they wouldn't shut the hell up.

In my travels through this crazy life, I find that I am usually said stranger. You people really need to stop walking away from me so terrified. I never said I'd kill you. I only said I might.

Quite a lot actually. Apparently I look like someone that is easy to talk to. Usually happens when I'm queuing for something or on trains.

I try not to. If it happens I usually spend a while after the conversation going over every word to figure out why they were REALLY talking to me.
I have problems.

I was at Guitar Center a few weeks ago looking through their books of tablature. This guy started talking to me when he noticed I was leafing through the book of "Rust in Peace" by Megadeth. We started talking about metal music in general and how long he's been playing guitar and all that. Turns out he even knows my guitar teacher, calling him "crazy" haha
I usually don't talk to strangers at all so it was nice to just have a conversation with someone.

This happens to me all the time. People come up to me because I'm a ready-made topic for them (my height). So I'll get people coming to me all the time...which is ok sometimes, but most of the time it just gets on my nerves.
It's also led to some funny moments I will admit.

All the time. In fact its my job to talk to and entertain a group of strangers all day long.

I like talking to new people, but i'm not one just to start talking to a stranger, i've been the victim of it though lol. Think because i look friendly as well.
Waiting at a bus stop, this old just randomly starts talking to me, and then we got on the same bus, and he sat next to me with no hesitation and talked, and talked, and talked, particulary about his beloved, gone motorbike, maybe like 40 years ago. I couldn't get a word in, honestly. Sometimes i couldn't make out what he was saying, but it was one way traffic. I think he said something rather incoherently, about something like a book or piece of metal, saving his life from a bullet. Well, if that what he was saying, at least i can say it wasn't a boring lecture, it was alright. Thankfully i'm a patient guy.
