I'm bookmarking this thread because of the possibilities.
Although I doubt he would return to Super Cena status, this thread will at least make sure SOMETHING good will come of it if he does.

I'd like to see the hat and here's something that's approprite for this thread whats funny about that was in 2004/05 he was the most over guy on the roster before Vince had to smurf with his character To be fair, there are a lot of writers, so it's not all his fault, if at all. Who knows who to blame? Either way, who determines what makes a "Supercena"? I say he was NEVER as bad as Lashley got for a while. I don't recall him beating main eventers in handicap matches.

He left? What happened?
Forgive my ignorance. Too busy to pay attention I guess.

He left? What happened? Forgive my ignorance. Too busy to pay attention I guess. Well, he stopped being portrayed as nigh unstoppable. He was allowed to "do the job", in a number of matches he was favored to win, and generally share the spotlight.

I think he's going to be pushed even super...-er. That video package was ridiculous. They've always pushed him as super human and now they're just out and saying it. Crazy.

Crazy. *shrug* What would you have them do? Not try to capitalize on his return? Or say something in the vid like "So, that's cool, right? He's alright." Laying it on a little thick isn't so bad.

As long as he makes WWE lots of money and is a reliable person to depend on, Cena will be around for a long time. I know that bugs most smarks, but it's something you'll have to get used to.

Nobody has ever received such an open ass-kissing video like that though. Generally when one of the guys is having surgery they get a small paragraph long update on wwe.com.

I disagree there, guys like Angle, HHH, Austin, and I think Benoit got videos about their imminent return to the ring. I don't see anything wrong with it, he's one of, if not the top guy in WWE.

Also generally, the guy in question wasn't the #1 face on a brand for 3 years running, the lead merch mover of the last 5 years, or essentially the most over guy in the company (going by length of career and popularity. cena may be out-popped by the likes of UT and HHH, but he's also only been around 6 years). i can understand them putting cena over by doing this.
but back on topic, i suggest you prepare a condiment for that hat. and why not just get a cubs hat? nothing worse than destroying a cardinals cap man.

What if the wwe does something so stupid and/or offensive that you quit watching before the 5 months are up?

I would say if you have a camera that's capable of capturing video you should make a video of you eating your hat.

I don't think he'll ever go back to the ridiculous levels of invincibility he was around 2005-06.
That served the purpose of establishing Cena as one of the Top Guys. Now he's there and will not lose his status (unless something really odd happens), so WWE can just book him in a more "relaxed" way.
It has happened before with any guy they wanted to establish, and it will happen again...

I think it's hilarious how whenever a thread is posted about CM Punk not getting clean wins some people will post those snarky comments about "what? you want him to beat the entire roster lulz" then go on to defend SuperCena's ridiculousness.

Oh, I have NO DOUBTS Punk will indeed steamroll his way through the whole roster the day WWE will decide it's time to establish him as THE guy. Til now he's just been one of the guys, so let's wait and see.

I think it's hilarious how whenever a thread is posted about CM Punk not getting clean wins some people will post those snarky comments about "what? you want him to beat the entire roster lulz" then go on to defend SuperCena's ridiculousness. I have an honest question. During SuperCena's reign, which of his opponents lost their heat? Which ones got buried? Of course it was ridiculous at times, but almost every guy he faced went on to win a major title, and most times, very shortly after facing him. Angle? He won a World Heavyweight Title a couple of months afterward. HHH? Never lost his heat, and has had two title reigns since then. Edge? He was seen as an equal to Cena, and he's had long reigns since then. Orton? Even if Cena didn't get injured, he still would've won the title again, and they would've had a great program. Jericho was ready to retire anyways, and RVD screwed himself over. And he got good matches out of Khali, Umaga, and Lashley. So, it seems like the only one who was hurt in this push was Cena himself, and even that is debatable, as he's still one of the most over guys on the roster.
