But I demand an eventual Triple Threat win should count as TWO defenses  No way. I didn't say "he must retain against five guys", I said "five successful PPV defenses", so sorry- Triple Threats count to one defense. |

The only hiccup I see at this point is actually WM. With the roll Orton's on and with HHH basically all but guaranteed to get the big moment off Edge, it is entirely possible Cena drops to Orton.
And I will be sad knowing a hat will not be eaten.

But in a 1-on-1 defense, Cena has a mammoth 80% chance to retain [he lost just if he gets pinned or submits, any other ending will have him keep the belt]. In a Triple Threat, Cena's chances to retain go down to 33%, he retains just if he pins one ot the other two guys, while any other outcome will crown a new champion. And there is no DQ/CO decision to save him. So I think I'm being very generous in asking a Triple Threat to count as 2 defenses...  |
