He was standing there before the camera got there, I'm assuming he didn't step out of the car the second the camera got in position. Security was there, no one was going to attack the car once he got back inside. As we saw by virtue of once he completed his temper tantrum he got in his car and drove away...exactly as he could have had he got in the car and drove away before the temper tantrum. Its EVERYONE's fault. Security's, Jericho's, and The Fans. Even Snitsky's?   |

Scott Keith bashed Hogan for holding back Jericho and the girl. The New Age Outlaws did another shoot, just for the sole purpose of bitching about it. Turns out the girl was only 16 and RF said.... |

Alot of you call Jericho's professionalism into question, but the mob are getting a free pass for their lack of decorum. Jericho was being professional and it wasn't working as the mob were just egging the situation on.

Alot of you call Jericho's professionalism into question, but the mob are getting a free pass for their lack of decorum. Jericho was being professional and it wasn't working as the mob were just egging the situation on. No one is giving the mob a free pass, but they are what they are, a mob. Jericho is the professional. He has to be held to a higher standard. |

I called them morons and so did everyone else who questioned Jericho's way of handling things. My biggest problem was that some are making Jericho out to be a total victim in this. |

So now that 12 pages are out of the way, and we all kinda agree that it's a pretty messed up situation, and no one we know personally got hurt...
Does anyone have anything for show and tell?

The fan said the group of people were blocking him from going, so they were already close to the car. I've been to many shows where fans go up to a wrestler's car and smack the car to get their attention for a picture or whatever. Not ONCE did a wrestler step out of the car. They would...roll down their window and ask the fans to please move so they and other people can leave the arena. Security for the most part are always slow to get people out of the drivers way. So because of this, it is entirely Jericho's fault for...not subscribing to the ideals that you have ingrained by other situations? Roll down your window, see what happens if people are already getting hostile. I thought they were blocking the car?  Actually, now that you mention it, I wish he did tuck tail and get out of there as fast as possible, because then we'd get idiot fans flattened instead of punched. By getting out of the car? Look, I understand what you're trying to say, but the world doesn't work that way. The fact that someone EXISTS or enters in an area they shouldn't doesn't make it acceptable for people in that area to touch them. If someone goes into a shady looking night club, are they at fault for almost getting assaulted by someone near there and then retaliating, only to get the rationale of "well, that place looked kinda bad, I'd say you shouldn't go." What happened if Jericho wanted to take a picture or an autograph and the same thing happened, even if someone hadn't touched his car? What would happen if he needed to get out of the car for SOME other reason? The EXACT same thing would've happened. Just get over it. You can't implicate someone for getting out of a car. It would not hold up in any court, so it doesn't hold up on the internet. What video are you watching? Even after he decks her, security doesn't do a damn thing. They hold their arm out at about a length and maintain a completely calm demeanor in the midst of what could've been a riot. It's a miracle it went as well as it did. |
