Bored right now so I figured I'd go through and list all the guitar picks I've collected at concerts over the years. I think I have a decent amount
-Shadows Fall -Machine Head -2 different Dragonforce ones -Static-X -3 different Chimaira ones -Three Days Grace -Sevendust -Hinder -Gym Class Heroes -Disturbed -Lamb of God -Flaw -God Forbid -Divine Heresy -Black Tide -Fiction Plane -Nonpoint -Ill Nino (1 that has their logo on it and just a generic pick) -generic pick from Eighteen Visions (no special band label on it) -a lot from STEMM (a local band that used to be awesome but following some lineup changes I no longer enjoy) -No Fear Energy Tour pick (dont remember which band I caught it from)
you guys got any cool ones?

I was at Ozzfest the year Andrew WK was playing, and half the crowd hated him, and the other half loved him, and I was right in the front-middle of the crowd, rocking out as hard as I possibly could. AWK not only came down and had me sing on one of his songs, but he played a bitchin' guitar solo and then came down from the stage and personally handed me the guitar pick. It was awesome.

awesome. Closest thing I got to that was when I saw Three Days Grace, during "Riot," all the teenyboppers were hopping around singing along like it was Good Charlotte or something and in the middle of that on the barricade is me headbanging and deathmetal growling it. The lead singer laughed, came to the end of the stage, and gave me his pick, hahaha.

How do you get these picks exactly? Do you rough these guys up out in the parking lot? "Hey, guys, great show. I really liked how you... *CRACK* ..Thanks for the pick, chump!"

no, most bands throw them out into the crowd at the end of the set I know, but you have an insane amount. How are you always where they're thrown? You either go to a lot of shows or have the devil's luck.

I've caught a few setlists thrown out at the end of shows. 2 from a local band that I liked, and one from The Dillinger Escape Plan.

Andrew W.K. was awesome when I saw him perform (it was either Warped Tour or a radio station festival.....I cant remember). It's a shame he quit music to become a motivational speaker.

He didn't quit. His last album Close Calls With Brick Walls is finally get released in the U.S. pretty soon. And he's still producing loads of underground stuff in New York with his night club, Santa's Party House.

It's not really his main focus these days. But he still very much involved with the medium.

At an Anthrax gig a few years back, I got one of Dan Spitz's picks. Another friend of mine was able to get one of Benante's sticks.

I caught the pick of the banjo player from Flogging Molly And I also got a setlist from when I saw Les Claypool at the Wiltern (From what I understand, one of the only shows where he played 'Coattails Of The Dead Man'
Oh yeah, and when I saw the Blue Man Group in Vegas, the guitar player came up to me after the show and personally gave me his guitar pick he used during the show
