Nice: Virginia Hey. Oh my God, she was SOOO sweet, so chatty and flirty. She was one of those folks who really wanted to meet and talk to each of her fans.
Rude: Harlan Ellison. What a jerk. Finding an egotistical published scifi writer is about as hard as finding a fat guy at GenCon, but I gotta say, he was just pissy to everybody. Ass.
Somewhat Rude: Walter Koenig. What a cold fish. It's obvious you are nothing but a cog in the machine that pays him, he doesn't want to talk to anyone.

He wasn't rude, but Brad Pitt reeks.

I can't say that I've ever met any celebrity who's been outright rude to me. At the same time a majority of the people I've met are in bands that aren't mainstream. For the most part everyone has been super cool. The most famous person I ever met was Linda Harrison, Nova from the original Planet Of The Apes. She was a class act, she looks practically the same only older. Very nice lady, she called me Joe Millionaire.

Sort of counts, I guess as celebrities. At least they would be here:
Lance Storm, Konnan, Brian Lawler, and Austin Aries have all been cool to me in emails, although usually fairly rushed emails, but that's understandable.
You guys may not know her(But should!) but Kate Beaton is really nice, as is Ryan North.
I can't remember if Jerry Lawler ever wrote me back, that was years ago.

Austin Aries, Jimmy Jacobs, and Portia Perez were all pretty cool. As were Buck Zumhofe and Animal and Hawk. Rain and Lacey were nice as well. I got to run into Brett Favre years ago, and back then he was a cool guy. I'm not so sure about now.

Nicest: Would have to be a tie between Dana Snyder/Dave Willis and Father Bob McGuire.
Rudest: Hmm, no celebrity has ever been "rude" to me. But Hayden Penntriete (or whatever her name is) was the least favourite celebrity meeting.

Nice: Tony Gwynn, Kurt Angle, pretty much everyone from the Star Wars movies (too many to mention), Hank Aaron.
Rude: Willie Mays (completely drunk), Odo from Star Trek (forget his name right now, Rene something).

Rudest: Mickey Rourke. Guy was walking down the middle of a hallway, taking up the whole thing, then wanted to start a fight when i said something about it.
No seriously though, I'm trying to think of someone and I honestly don't think I've ever met a celebrity. I once checked out Ben McDonald at a grocery store but I'm not a big baseball guy so I didn't even realize it until he left and someone told me who it was.

Nice: Hank Bauer-Yankee OF who played with DiMaggio and Mantle. Very nice guy who served our country in WW II. Sadly, he's passed on since Harmon Killebrew-Another nice guy. Like Bauer autographed my item AND took the time to talk for a bit. Todd Pettengail-Super SUPER nice guy who signed my Wrestlemania XI program (couldn't believe someone would remember his WWF stint.) A real grade A human being. Rude: Rosie O'Donnell-This was BEFORE she went off the deep end. Liked kids on her talk show but didn't give a crap about anyone in the real world. Henry O. Godwin-Just signed my program and didn't make eye contact.

Some others:
Lastings Milledge-Got his autograph when he was in AA for the Mets. Nice guy (even took a picture with me) which is odd considering that he's turned out to be an absolute dunderhead.
Dave Kingman-Another guy who got a bad rap but turned out to be pretty nice. Dude is like 100 feet tall ;D
King Kong Bundy-Possibly the nicest wrestler I ever met. Talked with him as a kid for about 10 minutes. Class act and one famous person who doesn't scribble his name, every letter is legible.
Pat Zachary-One of my favorite encounters ever. Famously known as one of the main guys the Mets got back in the Seaver deal, Pat was a riot. I was a bit nervous taking a picture with him (because I'm very awkward) and he was like "Oh, for the love of god, take the god damn picture!" in a funny way.

Can't really put these two in nicest/rudest categories, since I didn't really meet them.
But Paul Rudd was in a Broadway play when I was in NYC, and I really wanted to meet him, since he's one of my favorite actors. The Police had a huge escort for him(mainly it was for his co-star, Julia Roberts, who came off as a bitch). We were even threatened with stun guns. But Paul seemed cool, and he wanted to cross the street to visit with fans. The cops wouldn't let him.
Two years earlier when I was in NYC, I saw Burt Bacharach on the street. He looked like he maybe was gonna come talk to me, but then some random passerby called him the C-word, and he got scared and left.

While I never met him I've heard Adam Sandler is a good egg. When I was in college, me and a friend drove to Orlando to see his show. She wanted to do an after party thing with some people we ran into, course we got too drunk to drive back to St. Augustine that night. Anyway, a friend of one of the people we were crashing with said that Sandler was in one of the local bars hanging with the fans as if he wasn't a big celeberty (this was around WEDDING SINGER) Rude: Harlan Ellison. What a jerk. Finding an egotistical published scifi writer is about as hard as finding a fat guy at GenCon, but I gotta say, he was just pissy to everybody. Ass. Elison always struck me as a "catch at the right time" sort of guy. He could be cool if you meet him the right moment, otherwise you'll get ass

I was an extra on a Ben Stiller movie, he was very polite and friendly. Granted he may have just been staying in character, probably good I wasn't on the dodgeball set.

Not that I ever was a huge fan or anything but tiger woods was a jerk the one time I met him. I was selling artwork to a place that had opened up for the day and he shows up so I go up to him and ask for an autograph. He then tells me no because i'm eating right now. Normally I am respectful and if I see you eating i'm not gonna bother you. Now as I said the place just opened and there sure as hell wasnt any food on his table. So I thought that was real jack ass like of him to say that when he was pretty much the only one in the place.
Chris Jericho was super cool when I met him at his book signing and even complimented me on my Y2J jersey I was wearing. Lilian Garcia was super nice and took a pic with me and I spoke a lil spanish to her after a RAW TV taping back in 2005. Same with SoCalVal & most of the TNA people i've met. Joe almost killed me though because I asked for a pic w/him while he was apparently watching a baseball game. I survived though so its all good.
