Sounds kind of interesting. Though I bet there are people a little apprehensive about going to a video store and asking the cashier where they can find Donkey Punch. I'm sure that'd lead to some awkward conversation. I got as much when I rented ECW "Barely Legal." The 17-year-old girl behind the counter probably thought I was about to indulge in some jailbait porn. ;D

Yeah, Fangoria pimped the hell out of that movie, but it didn't sound all that interesting to me, either. Awesome review, and now I know for sure to skip it. Yeah, yet another internet horror-site darling that turned out to be more mediocre than anything else. I still have high hopes for GRACE, though.

Some news on Universal's plans for Autumn, according to Gorezone.net: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE F***ING KIDDING ME. I JUST recently imported this film from the UK because I figured that, after all this time, Universal had no interest in releasing it. And now, go figure, right after I pay out the ass to import it, Universal conveniently decides to go and announce it for Region 1. Sorry, I just have really bad luck with this sort of thing

Anyone think the movie "Orphan" looks good? Saw some previews last week, and I like what I saw.
Side note - Super pumped bout Scream 4. And possibly 5, and 6.

I'll have to hold off for a while though, I have my hands full with F13 Blu Rays and Dr. Strangelove.

Y'know, we brought up the idea of an F13 movie set at winter time. Between this news and Phantasm II, it kinda makes ya wonder if the studios have people...lurking, reading, observing...on THIS VERY FORUM!
*lightning flashes and thunder cracks*
Uh...HEY UNIVERSAL! I'd really love a "Universal Horror: Classic Movie Archive, Volume 2." Captive Wild Woman had 2 sequels that have yet to reach DVD. And there's The Mad Ghoul, that's a good one. I'm sure you could find 2 more quality b-horror pictures to throw on there. Pretty pretty please? ;D

I guess you just have to laugh about this kind of crazy stuff.

I guess you just have to laugh about this kind of crazy stuff. Oh no, I'm not really angry about the whole thing. Just highly annoyed. It seems like every time I hold out for a special edition or Region 1 release, I relent and purchase the barebones or Region 2 edition, only for the disc I was waiting for in the first place to get announced shortly thereafter. Some days, you'd swear these companies have built-in radar for these sorts of things...
