I actually like all the announcers where they are now. JR fits in great as a color commentator and Todd isn't horrible as a play by play guy. Josh/Striker are great and Cole/Lawler are well Cole/Lawler. I like Cole more than most and Lawler Is great at calling Santino matches and that's all I care about on Raw.

This. But seriously, I don't think its the announcers that are bad. Its that Vince has such a tight hold on what they say and do. They need to let themselves be. It just bugs me when they're talking but they're talking so low that you can't even hear whats being said. It makes them completely pointless. Also, whenever something big happens, they instantly go quiet. Commentators are there for a reason, to talk about whats happen. When a big attack is happening, they either don't talk or go, "Oh, come on. Whadda bully." They need to get a couple of good personalities in there and just LET THEM BE THEMSELVES. so right. But letting people be themselves and ...OMG...IMPROVISE stuff is such a dirty concept in the modern WWE. It just pisses me off. Some of the biggest names in the business got to where they were from improvs. Did someone hand Austin a script and say.. Wrtiter: Ok Austin, we have a new catch phrase for you to get over out there. We want you to say it at the end of the promo ok? Its...get ready for it..."and that's the bottom line, because Stone Cold said so!!!" Brilliant isn't it?!! Hell no, he made that phrase up. He made up Austin: 3:16. Rock made up everything he said. WWE really needs to move past this phase of everyone coming from the same cookie mold, every single minuscule thing being scripted, same old bland crap. With the exception of a few, most of the guys are so generic its crazy. Get back to the fun of it instead of worrying about putting on a flawless perfect show. Some of the best stuff was stuff that happened on the fly.

Juvi and Stevie Ray................yes!!!
Hopefully they keep Matthews. I think him and Striker really click and could be the future good announce team to replace King and JR some day.

How the hell do you get noticed by the WWE for these jobs? I know that they hire people and they have job openings for people to submit resumes and stuff, but do they really look at them or take them seriously? I announced a million high school basketball and football games when I was in school. I went to college for Communications focusing on Media Production, and I've been MC to a good bit of banquets and so on. I've been a fan since I was 9, I know the guys and their characters and their movesets down to the smallest detail. I'm quick-witted and sharp-tongued. I speak like a politician and I have a great sense of humor. So I'm asking...why can't I seriously be considered for this type of position? I've sent in resumes before when they looked for on-air talent, but I've never heard anything back from them. Not even to say they received my application. I could do it, guys. And yeah, I would try my damndest to work in some jokes from here.

Honestly Get JBL with Cole on Raw, Regal or King on Smackdown with JR and Leave ECW Alone

JBL would be great on Raw. I'm not sure how I feel about JR being the Color guy, having him go back to PBP and bring over Lawler to do color, what about Don Callis, he was amazing.

Lenny Leonard needs something to do. Actually, he's still calling ROH matches for the DVDs, or so I've been led to believe. Dusty Rhodes is helping to run FCW and calling the matches their air in Florida, not to mention he's said he doesn't want to to the travel thing anymore. Jibbles is owning OVW and calling matches there now, not to mention focusing on his energy drink and its expansion on the market. And the WWE has one great announcer just sitting there running their website at the moment, who hated calling matches for Vince because of the micromanagement. Thanks for pissing off Joey Styles.

If his injury makes him retire, I think kennedy would be a great heel commentator.

Bryan Danielson.
He can work a match so he has to be able to work the mic.

If his injury makes him retire, I think kennedy would be a great heel commentator. This is exactly what they need, some guys with characters and charisma to be themselves. Regal would also make a great heel commentator. I feel that the idea of face/heel commentators has pretty much been thrown out the window, though. I don't watch ECW too much so I don't know about Striker, but I know that JR never makes a heel comment anymore. They need to get rid of all these white nerds (lookin at you, Grisham) and get some actual charisma into the chairs.
