Are Chicago crowds this boring? Chicago crowds are usually the best crowds for a live show. They're right up there with Philly and NYC. I guess cartering to kids does not help a lot.

Are Chicago crowds this boring? Chicago crowds are usually the best crowds for a live show. They're right up there with Philly and NYC. Add in Toronto and sometimes San Antonio, and you have the "smart" crowds, too. Adult males are louder per unit than kids and women. Add in an older smart crowd who typically likes heels, a hometown smart favorite, a kid-beloved face, a smart favorite heel with a bunch of sympathy heat, and you have a recipe for a poorly received, otherwise solid match.
