Only because they're three very cute and hittable guys in the stable. Have Bob Backlund, Snitsky and Bastion Booger in the same angles it won't work nearly as well. The appeal wrestling has to gay men is obvious, you'd be a moron to not want to tap into that as a promotor/businessman. I must also agree they are cute and very do-able. I don't know, Orton taking forever to walk to the bed, and Ted and Cody hanging around would be awkward to say the least.

Wrestling to me is homoerotic all the time. There is something about half-naked guys grabbing each other for minutes on end that might be interpreted as vaguely homoerotic, yes. Personally, I am somewhat surprised there aren't more female fans in the arenas, even if the fake violence is a bit of a turnoff.

Somehow, I don't think Snitsky/Heidenreich was unintentional. Anyway... Even for HBK in '96, that's a rather... questionable outift. Vince's commentary in this is off the charts gold.

How has no one brought up this yet:
I know it's supposed to be unintentional but you can not have talks about gay things in the WWE without bringing up this.

The thing is, a great deal of Billy Gunn's gimmicks were homoerotic. About the only one that hasn't been was The One Billy Gunn, since even the Smoking Gunns were cowboys, which seems unable to escape gay context.

Lesnar and Angle after Smackdown. I know it's not unintentional but it's still funny. Whis I could find a clip.

As mentioned before, this promo is so awesome that it's my namesake. This one is even creepier: Close your eyes when you play that and you'll really be creeped out.

Snitsky/Heidenreich was just cringeworthy when both of them looked like...well them.
I agree about the Edge/Orton stuff. At least they're both considered attractive enough (no homo) to be doing the homoeroticism. I still wish we saw a bi sex celebration with Edge, Lita and Orton.

Plenty of times i've seen them act as just more than "friends". I dunno why but Randy always gives off bi vibes, because he pings my bidar.
