And by new I don't mean old WWE talent.
I'm finally getting back into TNA, I stopped watching when Russo and cast clustered the hell out of TNA.
Now I've been watching for a month or so now and I like the changes and how it is moving smooth.
Back in the weekly PPV, and Fox Sports days TNA introduced us to allot of new talent.
I see things about Doug Williams and I'm interested.
I see some wrestlers from Japan and I'm happy.
None from Mexico and I'm confused.
But where is the indy talent?
I love the X-division but I have personally seen many of these guys fight each other one hundred times each. Much like everyone did with the Cruiserweight division circa 99'.
Also am I the only fan that feels this way, as I have not seen a post like this on the TNA boards.

No. Only 'New talents' they've been bringing in are to promote tours, and most of 'em don't seem to stick around for long. It's actually a pretty big problem with TNA that they have no developmental/feeder system, 'cause they've had basically the same roster for like 3 years now with very few changes to it.

I haven't really noticed until now, but yeah, TNA needs some new talent. I mean, the newest guy in TNA is Suicide, and he's not all that "new."
Whatever happened to making Booker T's fed in Houston their developmental territory?

We just had Bolt come in for the Women, and Magnus coming in soon with vids. You can probably add Shane Sewell to that, too.

What would they do with it? Don't they have like a dozen guys who don't even make the show, outside of standing around and making faces while not helping AJ or anyone else in MEM beatdowns?

Teddy may have not worked out to well, but he honestly has not been on major tv yet.
Evans and Hart would have a chance to get over huge, and think if they planned it quickly and in time that the WWE brings out it's version of the Hart Foundation.

Just bring back Tanahashi, Alex Koslov, Volador, and Speed Muscle on a full-time basis, and I'd go back to watching TNA.

You're probably not gonna have much chance to be on major TV when you get yourself blackballed from every company you're in. Just bring back Tanahashi, Alex Koslov, Volador, and Speed Muscle on a full-time basis, and I'd go back to watching TNA. Don't know about Koslov or Volador, but I'd say you're not going to get Speed Muscle or Tanahashi on a full-time basis if at all since they're big stars in Japan.

Their roster is bloated enough as it is. There's no point bringing in new people unless they can really add something - and with London, Nathan Jones and Burke quite likely to come in shortly (Jones almost certain, apparently), there's going to be even less time to give to those already at TNA.

I once thought that their roster wasn't that big.
Then I realized I was only looking at half of it. True story.
I think they could do well with some rotating talent. Sign a variety of guys to short term contracts to use around their mainstays to help keep it fresh. They seem to hang on to talent for a bit long, that could help them freshen up.

The roster size alone begs for a B-show like Thunder. If Explosion(if it's still around) got a deal on Spike or say Versus, they could use all of thier talent and even package matches from thier road shows and put on Explosion with a different commentary team. Terry Taylor could do Color and JB could be play by play. Also I loved Koslov during the X-cup and wish he'd show up again. Speed Muscle was neat to watch but american audiances are fickle when it comes to talent from Japan. I don't like it anymore than you guys but it's true. The guys are better workers than alot of american talent but they just don't stay over the same way american talent does stateside. So in the small doses TNA uses them it works. I'd hate to see a team like Speed Muscle come in, get signed, debut solid and then get jobbed to Rock and rave infection

Oh and umm...TNA dosn't have a farm club but then again they have been known to steal ROH guys at a steady rate

I might be in the minority, but I would actually like for TNA to use more of the talent they aleady have instead of bringing in more people. Because there's already a lot of talent that doesn't get on TV as it is.
I think if TNA could get another show like Xplosion to feature the rest of their talent that would be good or at least an exclusive show on their Youtube page that features matches not shown on Impact.

Oh and umm...TNA dosn't have a farm club but then again they have been known to steal ROH guys at a steady rate Exactly. TNA does have a feeder system. It's called Ring of Honor. *runs away til the coast is clear* Haha, I'm hilarious. But seriously, it's a catch 22, and I've talked about this before. If guys who were on WWE tv were extremely talented, why not bring them in? Wouldn't you want talented people on your program? What if a prospect from WWE is more talented then a prospect on the indies? Should you take the indy prospect because they weren't on WWE before? Some guys from the indies would probably be more talented though, and vice versa. The Knockouts that are brought in all seem to be brought in as new. There are some good indy guys that could make a big impact from TNA. They probably are looking all over the place too. Josie and ODB were taken from OVW. Consequences Creed was taken from NWA Anarchy. Awesome Kong and Roxxi were taken from Shimmer. Rhaka Khan from FIP. Angelina Love and Taylor Wilde were former WWE developmental before signing. And when you think about it, Sheik Bashir wasn't fresh off WWE tv. He went well over a year before being picked up. There were the rumours of TNA looking for Claudio Castognoli, but that may've been a work to help his heel turn.

What's happening with Doug Williams anyway? Is he full-time or not. He came in for that X-Division seeding match. Finished 3rd, and hasn't been seen of since.

I'd hate to see a team like Speed Muscle come in, get signed, debut solid and then get jobbed to Rock and rave infection I agree, they have enough of a roster for a second show. They seem to have a glut of talented workers and not enough time to show them. There are a few pieces of fat they could stand to cut, but from what I've seen, most of their roster consists of fantastic workers that don't get showcased because they don't have time to do so. Of course, that's better than WWE's problem, in which they have a lot of talented workers, but way too much time to try to fill with them, which means others get pushed to the spotlight to fill time.
