I remember watching NY Knockout and the signal went out during the Steiners match. I remember also being pissed Cactus Jack had to job to Mil Mascares. I think? The Funk-Flair feud kinda felt over after Halloween Havoc 89, and it was def a sendoff. The GAB match was the heated one.

Another "Sophie's choice" scenario. Thankfully I have a get out clause, both as good as each other.

I consider these matches and his Ricky Steamboat matches, all around the same time, to be the best in his career. Therefore, I think 1989 could be consider his peak. He wrestled plenty of good years before it (he started in like 1973) and had some good years after it, but these matches were the best of his career (along with the original Clash with Sting, which was 1988). I'll go with the I Quit.
