Pretty much I like the "many" faces of Haku/Meng/King Tonga, he is the epitome of unintentional comedy relief. Plus one of my friends goes by the nickname of Meng because of his excess drinking, the way he handles himself in the moshpits, and his unpredictable ways of getting himself into trouble with venue security.

Yeah. I remember watching the Collosus Connection vs. Demoliton at Wrestlemania thinking "Haku is taking on Demolition by himself, just imagine what he'd be able to do with a partner he can tag in"
I was a Meng mark in WCW. I used to put my little cousin in the tungan death grip.

At the time I didn't like him. Prob because I saw him as a WWF mid-carder. Even as Meng. But looking back Meng and Barbarian were pretty bad ass. They should have been hired as hitmen/security for a top heel female or Bishoff or something. And allowed to be more "stiff". Although some of the Nasty Boys-Faces of Fear stuff is damnnn stiff in retrospect.

I thought his short lived feud with Kane and Undertaker, teaming with Rikishi, was kinda cool.

I always remembered being confused as to why the annoucers in WWF always referred to him as a 300 pounder when he looked nowhere near that. He always looked sorta small to me during that run actually.
Then he showed up as Meng and it looked like he had gained 100 pounds and several inches. It was really weird.

The best was when Vince would be running down the names of everybody in the Rumble.

He always looked sorta small to me during that run actually. Then he showed up as Meng and it looked like he had gained 100 pounds and several inches. It was really weird. Yeah I couldn't believe how much bigger he looked later in his career. He must of stayed in great shape. I think the reason he looked so small in the 80s and early 90s was probably because WWF had a lot more power house big guys back then so he was actually in the middle. I always liked Haku and thought he could have been a main eventer if ever given teh chance. I think the closest he came was in WCW when they made him to be a monster heel which worked great but they never pushed him like they should have. I remember a match he had with Goldberg on Nitro and it was awesome. It was like two monsters meeting. NWO was cheering on Meng even though he was in the NWO. They wanted him to take out Goldberg because he was the only badass that could do it. he got Goldberg in the Tongan Death Grip and only lost because he thought he won when he had goldberg in the hold. I liked his WWE return in 2002 i think it was but they never really pushed them very well. I think this was at the end of Rikishi's big run so they never really had a big run. Also this was right before they brought in Rosie and Jamal(later known as Umaga)

I liked King Haku the best. His run in WCW was good too. I'm glad he made it into the upcoming Legends of Wrestlemania game.

He was good for what he was. A midcarder who an uppercard face would fued with when they had nothing better to do with that particular uppercard face. Same with tag teams.

I marked when they had him main event Nitro against Goldberg and the whole night he spent laying out the entire WCW staff with Tongan Death Grips in preparation for the bout.

Even back during his King Haku days when he kept it short, it was deceiving; at the time, the hair alone weighed 43.2 lbs. At its fullest in WCW, it weighed approximately 67 lbs.

He'll always be Haku in the WWF to me. Great wrestler, very agile, great in both singles and tag team (though I preferred tag team).

Very underrated worker. He should have been bigger in the WWF, IMO. He had great title matches with Hogan and Warrior.
