would it be acceptable to bring a pillow and night cap while sitting front row at a taping? I wanna do this and pretend to sleep during boring matches While that would get a chuckle out of some people around you, you wouldn't get very far at a TV taping as security would confiscate it or ask you to leave, especially if you are on the camera side.

"You sold out" chants disgust me, with the exception of when it's used in a storyline where a wrestler sells out(like HBK/JBL). Disrespecting a guy for trying to make a living makes wrestling fans look like spoiled asshats. Hell yes. For a particular instance of this asshatness look at the reaction the fans gave Taz at Anarchy Rulz 99.

I remember when the NWO first came out, that fan jumped into the ring and had the crap stomped out of him by Hall and Nash.

The fact the security would confiscate a pillow and night cap would give me an even funnier reaction I do believe. "WHAT??? I'm tired"

Taz said it best on Rise and Fall of ECW...is he a bad person if other companies come to him and want to use his talent? No, because he has a wife and child and he has to do what's best for them. The only part I really found funny was that Taz laughed at the chants of "You sold out, You sold out", and when the crowd noticed him laughing they chanted "F You Taz, F You Taz". I was at an indy show a few years back now where some friends and I were watching a Homicide vs Low-Ki match, and we all chanted "Low-Ki's a monkey *clap clap, clap clap clap*". It got some laughs from the guys behind and in front of us anyway.

I can't but help think of Brian Posehn and wildly inaccurate things to yell at people walking down the street.
"SHOW US YOUR T--s!" at cops, and stuff.
I imagine this would work well with wrestling, too.

I have a few of these, but in the interest of brevity I'll only say one right now... I REALLY, REALLY hate it when a smark that thinks he's funny finds the need to yell out wrestlers shoot names DURING matches. The last ROH show I went to, a guy seated near me kept yelling "COLBY LOPEZZZZ!" at Tyler Black and would just call spots for the rest of the match using the dudes real name. "COLBY LOPEZ is GOIN' FOR THE PHOENIX SPLASH. YOU WON'T WIN WITH THAT, COLBY LOPEZ!" It's not funny, it's not cute, it's just really damn annoying. You should've shouted back 'You're not funny, you're not smart, you're just a f***ing douche, so shut the f*** up!'

Chanting "Macho" during a Hogan match. That will haunt him!
And Super Dragon.

Didn't Christopher Daniels react to this chant at one point?

Didn't Christopher Daniels react to this chant at one point? I could see him doing that. Maybe Colt Cabana.

It's a thrash metal band turning into a Disney pop band to turn a buck. It's not a wrestler going from high school gyms to WWE arenas. I don't know, if New Jack became famous then began writing children books to capitalize on it, that might be a wrestler selling out. Aside from that, I don't think there's a decent analogy in wrestling for what it really means.

Aside from that, I don't think there's a decent analogy in wrestling for what it really means. It actually reminds me of a story from Taz's Shoot Interview where he said Paul Heyman told him he should start looking at other options and to give Bischoff a call, because the way Taz was then, being in a major company could only make him a better person. So Taz calls Bischoff, tells him that he's interested in going to WCW, but that he really doesn't wanna leave ECW, so Bischoff is like "OK, so why are we talking then?", and Taz said "Because if I can get a better offer from you then i'll sign with you". Taz said Bischoff threw out a yearly figure, and then said "What do you think?", and Taz was kinda taken aback by that because he couldn't make a decision on that kind of money in a few seconds. So Taz asked to think it over with his wife, and even Paul Heyman because he owed Paul that, and Bischoff said "OK, call back tomorrow and i'll give you another offer", and Taz was like "WTF?". He said he thinks because he actually did take up Heyman's offer on calling Bischoff, that it strained their relationship from then onwards.

"What" chants. It's not 2001 or 2002 anymore, and most of the people who chant it probably don't know where it came from.

I hate any chants that people make thinking they sound smarter than the average fan. I went to a show where the kid behind me was screaming "hey nice blade job, nice blade job" whenever someone was bleeding. If you can't separate yourself from reality just shut up and let those of us who can enjoy the show.

At the last Dayton ROH show, every time there was a near fall some jackasses had to yell out TWO! It was cute the first couple of times but the entire night... come on.

I think it was started in Canada at the No Way Out PPV in 2003 when the crowd did that at every near fall and then it just spread to the U.S since then. I don't mind it too much but I could see how it would be annoying to some.
