At the 1/4 Tokyo Dome show (New Japan's biggest annual show of the year), the MCMG defeated NO LIMIT to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Titles. Team 3D defeated Yano and Makabe to win the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles. Tenzan and Kojima were pulled out of the original 3-way due to a Tenzan injury. So both tag champs of New Japan are from TNA Wrestling (and the Frontline to boot). Congrats to both teams. NJPW “WRESTLE KINGDOM III IN TOKYO DOME”, 1/4/09 (WPW/PPV) Tokyo Dome 40,000 Fans3. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title ~Tread on!!~: Alex Shelley (TNA Wrestling) & Chris Sabin (TNA Wrestling) beat Yujiro & Tetsuya Naito (c) (13:21) when Sabin used the Made in Detroit on Naito to become the 22nd champions. 8. IWGP Tag Team Title - Hardcore Rules: “Team 3D” Brother Ray (TNA Wrestling) & Brother Devon (TNA Wrestling) beat Togi Makabe & Toru Yano (c) (15:34) when Ray pinned Makabe after the 3D to become the 52nd champions. Discussion on the rest of the show is on another thread on the link below. Just thought I'd put this here as it's a pretty big deal for TNA. officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=wrestling&action=display&thread=160413&page=1

Now if both teams took those belts to the UK tour... sweet. Now if only both teams took those belts to the TV tapings, so they don't seem like they suck so bad. (For clarification, I don't think these teams suck, but the MEM are really good at making Frontline seem like they do.)

At least Kurt Angle and Tomko were allowed to carry their Japanese belts in TNA.

At least Kurt Angle and Tomko were allowed to carry their Japanese belts in TNA. I think it would be funny if they brought the belts to TNA, and Kurt made some comment about "Those aren't real belts" to which it's then pointed out he prided himself on being IWGP Champ...Also I think it would be awesome to have a Guns/3D IWGP Jr./IWGP Tag champ match.

This is going to be awesome for Global Impact. But I wonder if they'll explain why Ray is back when he's supposed to be "indefinitely" on the shelf?

What is the made in detroit? Not sure. The detailed results mentioned it was a double team move. It's probably either their stereo-kicks finisher or some other new moves.

What is the made in detroit? I think it's either the double superkick they do, or the combination cutter/reverse backbreaker they do.

The intro of the Legends and the MEM was awesome. Chono just looked like he BELONGED so much.

Legend and MEM vs GBH 8-man tag Part 1: Part 2: After the match, I think the Frontline has found their awnser. Prince Albert.

If they keep this year's Global Impact with the same format as last year's......I will most surely be happy to watch.

JUST saw the MCMG match. Really good, and it looked like Shelley broke his nose during it.
