Wow,stinks to see Larry eliminated this early but that's the way the draw goes. Here,I'm going to vote for Stockton. Nothing against Kareem but I have to go with the floor general.

There will be a last chance match up at the end...so have no fear Bird will have one more chance.

I'm taking Stockton. I have a lot of love for a guy who was never flashy, never eye popping with his moves, yet managed to always be better than the guy he was up against. Simplicity can work just as well sometimes kids. Two points is two points, and an assist is an assist.
Stockton for me.

Lew Alcindor. All time points leader, amazing overall game. Stockton never won a title despite having a HoF big man on his team.
Also, Stockton wasn't in Airplane.

Gotta go Russell here. Completely different eras and styles of play. Nash is a great player, but Russell was one of the first true superstars and is on an elite level of all-time great big men.
Completely unrelated: even if he comes in as a JTTS, Arvydas needs to have a shot at an upset later in your tourney. Walton calls him the best big man he's ever seen, and people talk about how in his younger days it wasn't uncommon for him to have a triple-double with assists in the first half. Stupid Cold War kept him out, sort of like how MLB fans only got to see the shell of Satchel Paige.
