$500 to be degraded and humiliated on a weekly basis on national television?
I don't buy this for one second.

It's possible she only made $500 per appearance, in addition to a whole bunch of stuff on top of it. I seriously doubt that it would be her ONLY monetary compensation working for the WWE.

Somehow I really doubt that figure. She had to be getting something out of Eddie merchandise plus money from the remainder of his contract.

As a further hole in this horribly fake tale, doesn't every wrestler have to pay for their own hotel/road expenses? Foley's books went into great detail about how he wouldn't get a room if he was only going to be in town for 4 hours or less, how he and Owen exchanged tips on the cheapest hotels in a town, would usually carpool with other wrestlers to cut down on rental fees, etc.

That was just her food per diem.

...did she wrestle? Other than screeching, flubbing lines, and being totally out of place, what would she do to pull down a credible salary from this company? Sounds about right to me.

She doesn't need to be a wrestler to get more than $500. I doubt Teddy Long is getting that type of money.
Whether you like her or not, she was very much over as a heel and the fans took delight in seeing her get her comeuppance.
Very doubtful that someone who was in major storylines for several years would only get that much.

They get free flights, but that's it. Wrestlers are responsible for driving and hotels. And I agree with everyone that this is BS. That's either a complete lie or just like a downside check and she was receiving a lot more royalties & other expenses on top of it.

That's like something a middle-class hooker would make. out what a low class delusional hooker would charge

I need to know how these guys sneak into the WWE locker rooms. I've always wanted to think it was something like this:

Maybe it's the fact I make only 800 dollars a month, but to me, 500 dollars for a month's worth of PPV buildup (double that with the WM buildup), plus PPV appearances sounds like a lot of money for somebody who has a non-wrestling role.
So really, I can't be as upset as most people are sounding they should be.

$500 x 52 (weeks per year) = $26,000 per year.

$500 x 52 (weeks per year) = $26,000 per year. I call newz. That's not factoring in appearances on RAW and PPVs; that's another $12,000-$24,000 Still I say newz as well.
