Not a Top Ten, not three...not even just two. If you could pick ONE episode of The Simpsons to describe as your favorite of their zany, mad-capped adventures, which would it be? I have to give the nod to "You Only Move Twice" (from under-appreciated Season 8) because I got to see James Bont get killed, and damn it Hank Scorpio is hilarious. Bastard!! That's always my pick for fav. episode.

And Maggie Makes Three.
Not sure why, maybe the ending.
After some displeasing work news, I even took the screen shot of Homer's special de-movtivational plaque "Don't Forget, You're Here Forvever" and set it as my background.

'Im Spelling As Fast As I Can' Thats right, a 2003 episode. I actually thought the show was still pretty good back then. I actually may have an episode I laughed more, or had liked better though, but this is the first to come to mind... Bashing the show past season 8/9 has become somewhat of a national pasttime. Even though I'll admit that seasons 10 and 11 and to a lesser extent season 12 were pretty rough, the show eventually recovered and now is as good as ever. In fact, last season was one of the strongest seasons ever. And seasons 10-12 weren't even the worst seasons ever. I give that honor to the highly awkward seasons 1 and 2. As far as the best episode, it would have to be Homer the Vigilante. It was a strong episode to begin with, and instantly became my all time favorite with its out-of-nowhere send up of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World.

Homerpalooza. Great episode with some great bands.
But honestly, I could watch any Simpsons episode and be entertained. The newer ones are a stretch (they start off good then nosedive half way through) but there is always something I'll like in each episode.
