Yeah, I don't think it was a work. Four years is a good long time to heal. Getting addicted to painkillers is an side effect of serious injury.
Well, Rehab isn't like surgery. It's something you have to want to get through, it requires a "Why" If Shawn claims that faith got him through that, then yes, God would have healed him. But, it's really not testable.
